I made this neighborhood eyesore look almost as good as the rest of the yards on this street

- I left a card with my contact info at this house, the guy contacted me later that evening and said he watches my videos already and was excited to let me come make a video, his mower broke and he’s been out of town, with all the rain we have been having the yard has gotten to out of control.
I like the wide angle shot. It's a very pretty neighborhood. You did a great job on that yard. A very enjoyable video.

The wide angle is good for a variety of shots. Yet, for me, the closer shots help me to see and learn how power tools are used (eg, when to rotate the angle of the line trimmer or edge cutter). Nice job as always, Josh.

Double mow (love the forward and reverse on every row), double mulch (you went over it AGAIN forward and reverse at a different angle) and then you BAGGED it all! (I even saw you pick up the random stalks at the end. Cool.) I watch Blade Mate Lawn Care, M&D Lawncare and SB Mowing, too. Your channel was suggested, so I checked it out. Excellent work, man. I'm impressed. Very clean work and that tree looks better, too! Subscribed.

Beautiful job, Josh. The property owner doesn’t need to let weeds proliferate like that. It really doesn’t take much labour. I bought my house that had a yard that looked similar, with all the dandelions. First time I cut the lawn I dragged a weedex bar across the entire lawn then left it alone for couple of weeks then worked on the yard with a butter knife and dug out a bunch of the larger weeds. It looked OK for the rest of the year. That fall and the next year’s spring and fall after the last mows of the year and first mow of the year I apply more weedex by manually watering the lawn with weedex, with bottle of weedex you just attach to the water hose. After that second year very few dandelions grew in the front lawn and I only had spray the weedex after the last mow of the year to control the weed growth, for the rest of the years I lived there. Letting the weedex work its way over the winter really killed off the weeds.
I think he’s gonna have it sprayed soon, it will cut down on how often he needs to mow

I like the wide angle shot. It shows the size of the yard as opposed to a narrow shot all the time. I think the combination of the two keeps the viewer interested by constantly changing the parameter of view.

Only problem with the GoPro is sometimes missing footage, most of the trimming of that part was missing.

Nice video. I love that you trimmed the tree too. Most lawn cutting videos do not touch the trees. What you did made the entire house look so much better. At first I thought this guy is crazy using a mattock along the curb. Those are back breakers but to each his own 😀.

I would thin the edge first with a weed eater and then edge. After the edging, then I will mow, then blow. I would edge everything first without stopping and not edge, stop, scoop and blow. I would do the blowing when finished the edging completely. I hate dandelions... they multiply so rapidly. It is so enjoyable to watch your mower cut the grass. The lawn turned out very nicely and it is so nicely manicured.

They did, it wasn’t the only one like this that I did, the other 2 we’re paying customers, and one was one the other side of them, they were in between 2 yards like that.
