- Our last session was a blast. So much awesome tactical combat that 4e is famous for. Tons of input from the chat. An aging Dwarf Fighter that never quite got it together. And a rogue that showed everyone how it is done.
This week we actually descend into the Keep on the Shadowfell. I will look to the chat to help me play the characters.
This will be an open demo as I share everything I would do as the DM and the community helps me make decisions. I am not exactly sure how this will play out, but we will give it a try. And along the way we will talk about whatever other 4e (or D&D in general) topics come up.

Line of sight and cover have 2 different tests. If you can draw a line from one corner of attacker's square to any part of defender's space that does not pass thru the object, line of sight is had. You can have cover but still be subject to line of sight.

After this battle do you think the party finally levels up to two? Or are they level two already?
I've been tracking the XP and they technically need another couple encounters, but I am going to level them up before the next session. I am anxious to use the new powers.
