I fished there for 4 days starting Thursday 1/18. I haven't fish at all with the indicator yet, but did well stripping buggers and Beatles. The first two days were slow but then day 3 and 4 the bite really kicked off strong! Would like to learn more about the indicator methods here and 2 hand casting with the indicator. About how far do you need to be able to cast your indicator rig to be successful and would it be tough with a single hand 9'6" rod? Thanks
60 feet is a great distance to be able to cast. a lot of spots wont require that far. 2 handers are so much better when you have a steep shoreline behind you or rocks, deep indicator rigs, ect.. as someone that converted to trying switch last year, do it. So much less work, snagged backcasts, broken off flies. Get a nice one so it is light
