Carnival was a really good alternative to innova crysta because after discount it used to cost just below the second top model of innova and provide extra space. But now since they launched innova hycross, the space issues are gone, now only only buyer they have are the one who cannot afford vclass
Own the 2021 Carnival its a beautiful product, plush ride, excellent price i bought it at. If this would come at around 45 lacs or so the takes would have been double.
Indians complaining about pricing but it's the taxes that are killing it. The same car in Australia can be had for approx 30 lacs, top variant maxes out at 45 lacs. So yeah blame it on your policies, not Kia.
True, but they should have manufactured here. CBU will always be expensive. What is killing the Indian auto market is the sub 4 meter rule. So many good cars don't come to India because of that shi**y rule. Nor do these 4 meter cars have much export pontential.
They should seriously choose the CKD route, as opposed to the current CBU/SKD route... This car needs to be priced more aggressively, and it could do wonders for Kia...
Toyota Vellfire costs 1 cr plus. So, potential Vellfire buyer will look into Kia option. This segment is altogether different. Comparing Kia with Innova Crysta is not fair. It should be compared with Vellfire.
I can get this kia less than half what is mentioned here in the Middle East with all the features... So who's laughing now Also, the real selling value is less than half shown here. The features & build are of that value , in other words, you people are nuts to think it's valued close to 60L
I got an opportunity to ride in my cousin's Kia carnival in USA. Felt proud that car which is available in USA is also available in India. Same when I saw Kia Seltos, Ford Ecosport, Honda CRV, Chevrolet Beats (formerly). Felt nice to see familiar cars though they have very robust features and safety.
No one is saying it's for regular people. It's designed for people who buy a 1 crore Vellfire. So they will be happy with a new and cheaper option. Also Vellfire comes from Toyota, so it's not even a brand question. It's a different segment altogether.
For a 70lakh rupee car, Kia has gotten a lot of basics wrong. An engine that is heard from the inside, 2nd row seats that needs a lot of effort to move, a noisy ride, 3rd row which is not electrically foldable, 2nd row ac controls not accessible from all seats and this is a 7 seater car, than my Harrier is 6 seater car.
I think TATA safari has more value & seat quality is on par. But build issues , software & service is better for kia . Man what a shame , mahindra xuv 700 I really don't know about that or how it compares with TATA on mentioned things
Kia should have launched Tucson competition Sportage and Hyundai verna competition Kia Cerato and Hyundai santafe competition Kia Sorrento. I know that sedan segment is not popular but the cars I mentioned are around 40- 60 lakhs but atleast it would sell in better numbers than ev9 and carnival
Thanks to the pricing, this car is DOA. For this price, I would expect fully powered seats, no compromises in the ride quality, a hybrid powertrain and a lot more
2.2 diesel engine people in Delhi NCR might ignore this product. Kia should have bought plug in hybrid technology. In this car, nevertheless, it’s specious, Car for non-urban people
The car is really beautiful tho, especially the front... It's similar to Chevrolet Suburban used in the US.... The price... well let's just say this will be an intentional choice for luxury chauffeurs...
Now a days brand value is considered than product value carnival is offering more sophistication compared to any luxury brand car at this price i hope it would soon be brought down from cbu
Ngl I would happily buy their Carena for that matter .....that's a lot of money for a MPV....instead buy a Force Urbania Bus for 35 lacs still save a lot of money
For around 26 Lakhs, one can buy an Urbania and spend the same amount of money in custom luxury interiors + enhanced exterior; the overall product would surpass this Kia any day!!! Just saying. 🤟🏼
Same like Nissan did the mistake on xtrail (on pricing) now Kia is following up with carnival.. really don't understand what they are thinking about the Indian market
I don't think India should be taking on the challenge to accommodate supersized cars on our roads given our population density and rise in car ownership. I, for one, am happy that big vehicles (SUVs, MUVs) are taxed higher as that is the correct policy for our roads
Good car - bad pricing - overrated smooth roads😂 - don’t mind going into the past and get maruti omini van, with no safety, but responds like a race car. Seriously, people should boycott foreign cars and go for Indian made cars.
To be honest I’m bit disappointed by this gen Carnival , they could have done so much yet nothing has been done to make you go WOW ! 🙂 for 64 Lakh ex-showroom this one isn’t really up to the mark
80 plus Laks for a Kia !! Hmm I don't think so !! With very stiff suspensions and stiff seats its hard to beat the kings of the segments The Innovas and the Karenses ! Now a days the plush ride is all tht matters not the interior asthetics ! And main problem the looks.. It looks like a School Bus or Delivery Van !! 😂😂😂😂
Cars have become like Smartphones....more no of features being added and less attention to pure driving pleasure. A car should feel like I want to drive whenever I look at it.
Today’s cars are so overdone cosmetically but people call them futuristic, premium blah blah, really something’s wrong with the taste of people. Also what these companies are doing is part sharing, tech sharing, platform sharing but still they are asking so much money for their cheap gimmicks and the sad part is people are falling for it. I understand people have money which they don’t know how to spend but still is this price tag really justified? I hate that word ‘premium’ really and car makers should really stop using it, I mean there’s no innovation only they are doing is just improvise the existing cars.#smallcarsarefuture
You should not be expected to adjust to mediocre engine, rattling road noises in car worth 64 lakhs. I guess Kia India is using that indian mentality of chasing discounts hence adjusted the discount value in the MRP at launch. This car would sell at 40 lakh after 6 months.
Kia/Hyundai dumping their redundant korean diesel cars in India. Why the latest and frugal 2.5L petrol hybrid engine, that's offered elsewhere, is not offered in this Indian version? No sensible person would consider paying such astronomical price for an outdated, underpowered and nasty diesel mill underpinning this otherwise practical and state-of-the art van!

What's your combo for 78L..
1. Fortuner +Emax7
2. Roxx4x4 + Hycross
3 Tucson +Carens ?
4 Ioniq 5+ Alcazar
5 Force Urbania?
Kia Carnival Limo
Innova hycross + Audi A4
Innova hycross + virtus gt + 18L mutual funds 👍🏻
Ioniq 5 + Alcazar
Skoda Kodiaq+I20 N line
The vehicle is "overpriced" because of our country's tax policies, not the manufacturers doing.
Yes we should welcome everyone dumping their produce without employing Indians or bringing technology to India, great thinking
Very well said bro 👍
loosu for all car same tax only. There is not extra tax for kia
It is CBU .
Kia has to manufacture in india only

@@ajthomas770what's the price of fortuner in middle east ? For sure you get a LC200 there at the price of fortuner in India

Such a massive car, took 3 people to review it.😅
True 😄
I got an opportunity to ride in my cousin's Kia carnival in USA. Felt proud that car which is available in USA is also available in India. Same when I saw Kia Seltos, Ford Ecosport, Honda CRV, Chevrolet Beats (formerly). Felt nice to see familiar cars though they have very robust features and safety.
78 lakh on road for a kia. Seriously we are paying that much amount for a Kia😂😂
a casual stroll in city will answer you
No one is saying it's for regular people. It's designed for people who buy a 1 crore Vellfire. So they will be happy with a new and cheaper option. Also Vellfire comes from Toyota, so it's not even a brand question. It's a different segment altogether.
The cost of kia ev9 is 1.3 cr approx
For a 70lakh rupee car, Kia has gotten a lot of basics wrong. An engine that is heard from the inside, 2nd row seats that needs a lot of effort to move, a noisy ride, 3rd row which is not electrically foldable, 2nd row ac controls not accessible from all seats and this is a 7 seater car, than my Harrier is 6 seater car.

They did do Road trials in India but did not launch the Sportage
Cerato is elantra competition, rio/k3 sedan is Verna competition
Well it sits between crysta n vellfire.. so pricing is ok maybe .
And also its not assembled in india so the 100% tax duty also applied to it
At this price what are the other options..... Maybe a comparison is on the cards.
Toyota vellfire also have same kind of engine outputs almost 200hp and costs more than 1 crore
Thanks to the pricing, this car is DOA. For this price, I would expect fully powered seats, no compromises in the ride quality, a hybrid powertrain and a lot more

WHY THE HELL IS KIA OBSESSED WITH THE SWIFT STYLED FRONT DOORS
nice video with no nonsense music in the background and mature presenter speaking sense
U can get the MG gloster for half the price with more features and almost the same space on the inside.
Kia is just like Skoda. Selling cars in India at very high price.
0:10 alloys similar too older alcazar
The DRL looks very similar to seltos facelift 0:50
Now we know why Toyota Innova has been the best MPV for Indians.
So it has almost the same power figures as an XUV700 but with the added mass of Carnival!
Ngl I would happily buy their Carena for that matter .....that's a lot of money for a MPV....instead buy a Force Urbania Bus for 35 lacs still save a lot of money
KIA should have gone with Air suspension, to dampen the Bumps
For around 26 Lakhs, one can buy an Urbania and spend the same amount of money in custom luxury interiors + enhanced exterior; the overall product would surpass this Kia any day!!! Just saying. 🤟🏼

Which watch are u wearing brother
Was waiting for relaunch of carnival, but now looking at its price, no doubt it is over priced and started looking for other options to buy
Good car - bad pricing - overrated smooth roads😂 - don’t mind going into the past and get maruti omini van, with no safety, but responds like a race car. Seriously, people should boycott foreign cars and go for Indian made cars.
diesels are ok and all. but would rather like to see a 2.5L petrol with strong hybrid. made in this land than importing. that will level out the cost.
Awsm car ..❤
Honestly, for the same price I don't mind an E class. It's very comfortable and has the badge snobbery
What more features gloster has over this.?
Anyone noticed the ecosport, still striking
i had a budget of 45lakh. and wanted to buy this vehicle.. but it seems kia doesnt want me to 😂
Same here!!!
Same old engine !! Bad
@autocar, what about the ground clearance, please.
Should have had massaging seats at this price
Thank you sir for
Hindi video
I am big follower of autocar
i was hoping Kia will launch a Plug in Hybrid model in India.
4k, finally!
This is a nice car, but the price of import just messes it up real bad.

But where are the roads to drive this and enjoy its true comfort? 😅
Force Toofan is best alternative for Kia Cranival
For 80 lakhs im buying an innova hycross zx for 35 and an A4 for 45
🤷🏻♂️
Pethatic alloys, buyers will change immediate once vehicle invoiced that is for sure
I would love to have this car...only hitch is I dont have the money. It will be a great car for a family of 5-6 for a long journey.
Cars have become like Smartphones....more no of features being added and less attention to pure driving pleasure. A car should feel like I want to drive whenever I look at it.
There only one variant and no 9 seater option 😢
I will buy a 3 bhk in Badlapur in this price and 1 Ertiga cng top end 😅😅😅
Why did they delete the rear wiper?!
The old carnival cost 22L ex showroom in 2021 what is Kia smoking
It looks very good😊

Old carnival had same specs engine and was at 35 lakhs on road for top model. This one is too costly with same engine specs
A poor man’s Vellfire!
Lol selling 40L car for 80L. Good luck 👍
5:07 the taillights pretty similar to sonet
Nice video
No hybrid? I will choose hycross over this any day.
Should've been a strong hybrid or an EV
For 77 lakhs you will get the E220 LWB
Compare it with Vellfire.
Please compare with Toyota Vellfire
Nothing justifies this RIDICULOUS pricing ! its more than double the previous model. why would someone spend 75 lakhs on a kia ! silly pricing !
❤
They could have added small toilet, bit bigger engine for that price in typical korean style. Reviwers never talked about safety & crash test.
could seriously do without the side steps . . .
So much money and the boot opens with hand liver ???
No rear seat entertainment ?? For that price !
You should not be expected to adjust to mediocre engine, rattling road noises in car worth 64 lakhs.
I guess Kia India is using that indian mentality of chasing discounts hence adjusted the discount value in the MRP at launch. This car would sell at 40 lakh after 6 months.
This car might just do the trick as Innova Crysta diesel automatic is discontinued. Ya but overpriced.
3 Cretas/Seltos for one car 😄.
i’d rather have the alcazar than this
*Top end model ex showroom price must be below ₹50 L, truly hugely overpriced, maximum up to ₹55 L on road is ✅ price*
So now you can buy this instead of Toyota Vellfire....
Still more value for money than Vellfyre
Vellfire is CBU. This is not. No way it should be 70 lakhs.
😂😂😂😂😂
@@avisrivastava9544 This too is not made in India, either CBU or CKD

Makes the Toyota hycross look like great deal ! 😂
Tooooooo pricy. Can consider hycross. Also range rover
Looks more a linkon
new toy of netas in cities
Used s class na le lee koi
What a joke. Dead on arrival.
Not so poor man's Cadillac
All the best KIA
Lol 80 lakhs on road
Lexus comes at that cost
E class
A6 audi !!!
42 prcnt tax. 8 prcnt cess. Almost 50 😂 gvt can kill any brand
A highly overly overpriced one...
buy two innovas and ride even comfier instead of getting this.
Way too over priced!
Way too overpriced
