Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus for Sony's PlayStation 2, and chronologically the fifth installment in the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. I love how they play coy in the first three, and in the last one they're all so cold and calculating. Freaking genius
On the last one, Yu was like, "I'm in danger".
Yosuke is a smart dude and he doesn't get enough credit for catching on to this sort of thing so quickly, though his competition is Kanji and Teddie so it's hard not to look comparatively good at reading the room as opposed to them lol
Yosuke is really strong socially, probably the strongest EQ of the most recent Persona entries. (P3 - P5.) I think his conflict gets overlooked as being used by his crush, but the reality is, the guy is a pretty fantastic judge of character & able to read most any situation. I'd say a lot of his pain stems from that being one of his only real failures to get a read on someone, since he plainly acknowledges the way people try to manipulate him from the start of the game.

@@Jay__B1990 the Rise one sounds like the impressed tone. It sounds like if there was a later coversation it would start off with "So how'd you pull off charming an absolute beauty like that." Or something to that effect. The yukiko one sounds jealous to me. I agree with his reaction to chise being one of "But why, why would you do that, why would you do any of that".
i love the fact of Rise being very expressive with his love for Yu but when Yu really have romantic moments with her, she got nervous XD

I think i can hear the diference its that for the other girls is more calm, but for chie was with more emotion

i love this. persona 4 golden's screenplay is so much better than any other persona games...
also, Rise's reaction when it was Yukiko's turn, tells you that she is much more annoyed with the idea of Yu and Yukiko dating
Probably because Rise sees that Yukiko is her biggest competition. Yukiko was the school idol before Rise showed up
While I admit this game does interactions better than Persona 5 either version, that isn’t necessarily a negative I have with 5 because of the circumstances the Thieves have with Akechi always hunting them.

I think Rise would pick up on that rather then Chie. Her and Kanji are pretty close.
I personally subscribe to the idea of Yu just throwing that out in conversation for the express purpose to mess with the girls, despite having not gone with any of them.
When the Yosuke mod is finished-
"W-wait a sec... can you not mention that now."
Damnit Altus, I get that you make these games so that all girls are datable for the MC but at least give our best bud a girlfriend by the end of things!

Loved P5's amazing presentation, fluidity, and style.
I must say, i doubt i speak for the minority of players when I say- P4 definitely has an edge over all of the others when it comes down to charm and immersion.

I was just referencing the fact that if you have a decent PC, you can play P4Golden without a Vita.

So I just played through this part and I was only dating yukiko at the time but I took Rise to the festival. I got the yukiko scene even though I didn’t take her to the festival. So the scene is based on who is your girlfriend rather than who you actually take

after years of watching anime, I can confirm that the official (or more like "should-be" couple) are Yosuke with Chie, Kanji with Rise, and Yu with Yukiko.
For Yosuke and Chie, they are opposite to each other, yes. But, that can also mean they are a perfect fit for each other. Chie is strong-hearted, a little bit mature like a big sis who wants to protect her loved ones, while Yosuke used to be having a crush on a senpai. They look like magnets drawing closer to each other.
For Rise and Kanji, Rise likes Yu because he would treat her like she's a normal girl instead of some kind of celebrity, which she has been sick of. While Kanji love cute stuff (his feminine side), that's how he had a crush on Naoto. But it is unlikely for Naoto and Kanji to end up together at the end (I am currently at clearing Nanako's dungeon), I just cannot see the chemistry of lovers between those two. Rise would kinda dislikes Kanji like the time she noticed he would not nosebleed as he did while campout with Yu, Yosuke, Yukiko and Chie, he was acting like "why should I nosebleed when I look at you", that's literally what Rise wants people to act after she ditched the Risette's image.
As for Yu and Yukiko, their Social Link story is like a perfect date, from helping her improving cooking skills, helping her realize what her heart truly wants, to run away from Inaba or to stay and inherit her tradition. In the end, she embraced the tradition to stay, not accepting the tradition unwillingly.

I romanced Ayane and she still called me up and I still got the option to ask us to go alone and whatnot so I really don't know..
@@Vlaz_Vlad Rise is the default option. Yukiko and Chie will only call you if you romance them at Rank 9. Ayane (provided you choose Music Club) and Ai will only call you once you reach Rank 3. Yumi (provided you choose Drama Club) only call you at Rank 1/Rank 2 or Rank 10 (need to romance her).

I'm sure they'll have this reaction even if you haven't a relationship with them as it would be too bother to make more scenes. Regardles of the relationship with Rise she would try to flirt with the MC so there is no real reason to erase her part, if that is the case then it would feel like a waste to erase Yukiko's and Chie's. If i'm mistaken i can only applaud the Persona Team developers for going that far.
