As much as I love persona 5, it really needs some extra dialogue options or changes if you're on new game plus or whatever and manage to ask a girl out before the game expects. Notably, the beach scene! Maybe in its own golden edition.

As much as the original chie voice was kinda lower and, for lack of a better word, seductive, I prefer Erin's Chie more. It hits the high school type voice more and makes some of the more tomboy tendencies more believable.
I think the new chie is much more "smooth" transition from japanese dub to eng dub to those who comparing since they are similar in voice. Of course, there would be detractors since there's a lot of people playing the original and/or prefer the original heavy voice instead the common "it's too squeaky".

Romantic moments are way better with Naoto or Marie. Outside of being an OK party member she is garbage.

Even out of persona 5, which I believe was cast very well, I think the voice acting for this game is the best, especially Kanji Yosuke and Chie. They all just sound perfect for the looks

Ah, Chie first persona girl I ever romanced! She's so awesome!... though I dunno about anyone else but did you guys hang out with your girl of choice during the last few days of the game? I remember "Snowflakes" playing, and I desperately spent all my last days hanging out with Chie because I knew the end of the game was coming T.T
People put a "perfect" voice for characters but sounding higher pitched fits a highschool student and her personality makes her high voice kung fu noises all the better, Chie has a great voice actor. People never sound how you expect in real life so stop treating va's like they do something wrong, there is nothing wrong with a high voice.
I think that yu never went through accepting your shadow because your shadow is your true heart and persona user summon from their heart- a representation of their true nature. But a wild card summons from the mind- infinite possibilities.

It was not having the "courage" to outright ask my girl chie for her number that has made me obsessed with becoming the confident Yu I am today! This is my first play-through, I started playing last week, I'm loving it!

Rise being canon in the manga is a myth from random reddit posts, i actually read the manga, none is canon or more pushed in the manga. Yu flirt with every girls in the manga and every girls have a crush on him. But he doesn't date anyone. Like how Yu chose Chie in King's Game or carried princess Naoto or staring at Yosuke making him going homo.

Soejima says Chie is the foundation for design and colour for p4 as a normal cute girl that can exsist in real life so it's like heroine. How Yukari reacts to Yuki's ending. Like how Chie monologuing she isn't special like other girls in Valentine really hit in the feels and is just sweet. Underdog just makes them special. First archetype girls Yukari and Chie like the MCs. Furthermore, i don't see the MCs getting any other occupations that they gonna get restrained with. While with Yukari and Chie, they can be whatever they want for the future because Yukari and Chie would support them no matter what while they're not be bounded by any occupation or anything. People put a "perfect" voice for characters but sounding higher pitched fits a highschool student and her personality makes her high voice kung fu noises all the better, Chie has a great voice actor. People never sound how you expect in real life so stop treating va's like they do something wrong, there is nothing wrong with a high voice.
Same with Takemi, I watched the anime before the games so I'm already used their Vas

I remember I asked Yukkiko straight out during my very first playthrough. I wasn’t able to with Chie so I thought surely I wasn’t ready to do it with Yukkiko’s dialogue, but when I hit it the game just kept going lol.
