What is nice about this POV test drive video, is that we don't have the experience spoiled by background music (or jibber-jabber from the driver for that matter) so that the viewer can actually get to hear the sound of the engine etc. Therefore being better able to experience what the cars drive is actually like. Thank you for that.
Maybe it's just the crappy over-sensitive GoPro mic, but after hearing about how surprisingly quiet Phantoms are I was actually a little disappointed in the amount of road noise. Does this hold true in real life or is it just a byproduct of the recording setup?
Microphones especially smaller ones like the GoPro attenuate to those frequency ranges. If you have noticed in many car videos the sound of Intake vacuum can overwhelm the microphone while someone standing by the car in person would hear much less.
