Don't even get me started on Ukraine.
The United States is self-explanatory. We can't afford housing, we can't afford medicare, we can get jobs but they only pay enough to cover the fuel it costs to travel to the job, and our society is falling apart because it didn't discipline it's newer generations when they were children, causing them to grow up acting entitled, greedy, disrespectful, and hateful instead of what America was _supposed_ to represent.
Central and south america are feeling the most extreme effects of environmental destruction and Climate change, and Brazil's logging activities have decreased it's rainforest's abilities to compenaste for it. Mexico is barely holding the line against powerful criminals and drug cartels that are influencing it's government and oppressing it's people, and neither the UN or other international organizations are helping deal with it anymore.
Africa's under attack from all sides, including the inside, for power struggles and food shortages.
I haven't heard much from the United Kingdom or Canada, but I'm sure those of you living there are well-aware of problems plaguing your country.

This truly started because of lockdown 4 as 3 weeks ago people were in good spirits and things were looking good for us. Then Cyril forced lockdown 4 saying it was for the good of the people.
To these people who lost their jobs last year April and now again in winter...

My mom was from SA. She came to the States in 1959. She was of British heritage. Most of my relatives have left the country, but I worry about the ones who are still there constantly.

The guy who said he could eat a bicycle probably meant that he'd turn it into food somehow. He can probably sell it and use the money to survive. People don't need to be starving to be driven to looting. They just need to feel as though their survival depends on it, so if there is no sense of food security, taking anything of value is seen as a means to survival because it can be sold for money with which you can buy food or other essentials.

We Americans saw something similar happening last year in our own country and that should tell you how important is to have a government that gives a sense of security in times of chaos, because lots of people are ready to go and take what's not theirs at any giving time, regardless of their nationality, race and religious beliefs, if the masses dont feel someone will punish them for a crime they are more likely to commit it.
