Isobel Beret colour is what type of affiliated you are in. For example, Black berets are tankers, trenched Green berets are typically infantry or artillery, but untrenched green berets (as far as my knowledge) is a service battalion.
I'm pretty sure that's not how they work. The PPCLI corp and RCR corp, every cadet wears the Maroon beret. Also note you can't even wear the Mock tower wings (Bitch Wings) on your uniform. And if you get your CF Para wings that still does not qualify anyone to wear the Maroon beret (for that reason). He might of had his jump wings, but the entire corp wears the beret.

@HightimesRgoodtimes I have a find in Hastings and Prince Edward and he has a red beret so I think certain Infantry and the MP regiments have them
