Great interview! You did a fantastic job! I didn't become a Juggie until the series was over. I watched the entire Psycho Series in just two weeks. Although I knew it was fake because it already ended, It was so well produced and delivered, I got emotionally involved with the story and the characters, it felt real. There was even times I cried even though knowing it was all fake. It is no different then a story on a TV show. You know it's fake but you still get emotionally invested with roller coasters of emotions. It's like you are immersed into a false realism. The Psycho Family documentary was very well done and worth the wait. Brian Spitz did a brilliant job. Again emotions all over the place. But watching the Psycho Series BTS and then this doc, you learn a lot about the hard work, dedication and struggle that it takes to tell such an amazing story. Unfortunately RUclips is still not taken seriously as it should. Mainline television still looks down on RUclips like it's not a job, or you can make money off it. But if you have been following recently, advertisers are leaving, and creators are struggling to make money anymore. It's sad, really.

My kids showed me his channel in the beginning of the series I thought it was real.After a few videos I was like this is crazy he is being abused mentally.As the series progressed I told my kids this is no way real but they said it was.They finally figured out it was not real but some parts were.We still watched the videos till the end and still do.He is a great storyteller and creator.Lets see what the future brings you never know.Great job Jesse 😎🇺🇸🎈
I remember watching the very first Psycho video and I thought it was real at first. I’m subscribed to him since he had around 1M. I also remember watching most vlogs on his channel until the Psycho Series ended. When it ended, he started to add some more drama and I stopped watching his videos after 6 months since the end of the Psycho Series. I came back to watch his videos 10 months ago and his and my whole life changed as he did very crazy stuff. And I still do to this day.

Just now seeing this interview..I also was one of the fans who thought the series was real he did an amazing job story telling but where he seriously messed up is when the psycho series was red hot there would be leaks and expose videos proving he was a fake..and it kinda ruined it the whole thing and he would slip up alot during it too..but it turned out great in my book..but I feel now a days and right after he ended the psycho series he tried to catch lightning in a bottle and do more series which I lost interest cause the whole shock value was gone for me ..it wasn't real..but his hardcore fans still tune in its whatever though just not really into his content these days ...

Christopher Shafer hes said many times it was “real” when asked even when many vids analyze it and prove they’re fake. He milked it as long as he could profiting off of gullible children who send and buy him stuff even if unintentional at first.

He never said the videos were fake while the series was going on because if he revealed it mid series, it would break the immersion and he wanted us to have a solid experience. All the money and electronics he was sent he sold and used the money to buy consoles for giveaways to give back.
