If you've ever played this piece in public - which I have, I probably agree with you. When you play this waltz it's easy to linger and get caught up in the melody. But listening to someone else play changes things. We are all critics. The performance of this composition by Brahms is brilliant. It's a powerhouse of emotion and is magical. Bravo!
