Which method do you prefer? 🧐 Do you like your Thai tea served cold with ice 🍹 or as a hot drink ☕️ ?

I've been going down the rabbit hole of thai tea for the last nine months or so. I've tried the Cha Tra Mue brand (gold) and Wangderm tea bags, which I've prefered but now feel it isn't strong enough (no matter how many bags I use and after I got sick in August, it hasn't tasted the same). I prefer a stronger tea, so I've recently tried the Pantai brand and may do a taste test betwen Cha Tra Mue and Pantai. I microwave my water then put tea leaves in and let it steep for about 5-10 mns (having tried different amounts of tea leaves to find my personal sweet spot) then filtering with a small sieve between 2 large glass measuring cups. Then I add coconut sugar and pour over a lot of ice, then add half and half. Recently, I ordered a thai tea filter which I tried for the first time this morning, pouring the hot water into the filter multiple times (using 2 large glass measuring cups). This is just as much work as my previous way, but I'm researching. Tomorrow, I will just let the tea steep in the filter bag in the water. One day, I will have it perfected.
