2:35 I like how, after this silly question about how long Dana would last in a fight with Randy, Randy coolly proceeds to strategically breakdown Dana's strengths and weaknesses in a fight. I love Randy. A true professional.

The real Captain America.

Dana doesn't like dealing with people who want rights. Dana doesn't like it when he could potentially lose money to help his fighters. Thats why he hates Randy because he stands for that.
I met Randy in Las Vegas. He is nothing but a classy guy. Dana White wouldn't last 60 seconds in the ring with someone like Randy, even if he was it tip top shape and tried to dance around and run away. As soon as Randy got ahold of him it would be a really bad day for Dana.
dana white is a financial bully because he lacks nuts to be a fighter - he thinks hes a tough guy...hes not. God bless randy and other fighters who paved the way for ufc success
Without rewriting my "book" on the subject, I really, really hope that the top UFC fighters start negotiating contracts with the help of sports/entertainment lawyers. Right now, it seems like the fighters are so glad to be making"good" money that they're almost OK with not getting what they should because they're not "down" with the business aspects of MMA---whether in the UFC, Bellator or wherever. Whatever else can be said about Floyd Mayweather, he's possibly the richest athlete on the planet because he did *business* with people who were used to running a boxer's pockets. Dana White's stuff would stop if he had to go into a contract negotiation with, say, Ronda Rousey (who is still valuable to the UFC for marketing reasons, and will become more valuable IF she regains the strap), knowing that she was willing and able to go to Bellator---especially if the powers-that-be at Bellator started investing in fighters in such as way as to make the promotion a serious, valuable option to the UFC. IMO, it's gonna take a wake-up for the fighters, that they realize it's not in their interest to allow Dana White (or anyone else, really) to become the "Vince McMahon of MMA." These guys and gals are athletes---but they're also independent contractors, much like pro wrestlers in fact. There's not even a faint illusion of "job security," which means they need to start (or ramp up) thinking like *business people,* and putting their interests above those of the UFC and/or Dana White. That means, if that contract is up for (re) negotiation, it's time to lawyer up. Whoops, almost wrote another book!
bighands69 you do have a good point, the old saw about "inmates running the asylum" has truth to it.
