@blackcavi4515 As a child I was around 10 when I first heard her on the radio and tv. I liked her a lot but fast forward to when I was 15 and attended a Rufus concert is when I fell completely in love with her artistry. Back then in 1975 at that concert she was in total beast mode and slaughtered it. I could feel chills going through my body and I could feel the hairs on head stand at attention. I had to go see Rufus and Chaka again at 17 when they came to town. Theirs was the perfect marriage and I hated when she left the group but I understood she had to move on. In the 90's I saw her live twice and again she put on a great show. Love all my lifetime.

no disrespect to millini, but sometimes the child exceeds the parent in talent, not the case here, (not saying milini can't sing) however, she will never come close to what mama did vocally, Chaka is one of a kind! there will never be another, period!

That’s just the thing. Milini has said many times she’s NEVER nor will EVER try to to be her mother. And that’s one thing Chaka has told her. Never try to be her just be herself.
That's ridiculous to think she could exceed her mother, there isn't enough time remaining for her to accomplish such a feat.
Beside Icon such as Aretha, Gladys, Diana, Chaka Khan, Patti, Natalie Cole, Anita Baker and so many more greats of that era can never ever be exceeded, their music timeless
