    thats because every note is like a captive bird in his hands, and he treats this "bird" in a very special way, he loves every "bird" in his hands, and you...you are hearing this love.

    Yes, B-F# in the video. He hits the thirteenth C-A. Btw he is really tall, about 6'4" (193cm) or more. It's amazing that his big hands could play so softly and with such virtuosity. Great pianist indeed.

    For me, this play, and the Martha Argerich's, are the best interpretation of the Chopin's 3rd sonata. Is there any official recording of this?

    Paderewsky old edition contain this E#. A serbian pianist said to me the E# is correct.

    I like the way he plays the part around 5:55. It is beautiful.
    He makes a major mistake at around 6:43, where he plays E#(or F natural) instead of E. Did anyone notice it?

    @iwritemusic1 I agree, this is Ivo, but the video I commented on was definitely a video of Zimerman, the video has changed. Odd to say the least!
