- A conversation about the past, present and future of House Boleskine.
Why the Re-Upload? Because "DANCE ALL DAY Musicvertriebs GmbH" - www.dance-all-day.com/#contact - is fraudulently claiming that my use of 18 seconds of a public domain version of Chopin's Nocturne is under their copyright and @RUclips is doing nothing about it. So, I had to remove my opening sequence and will probably have to have the music re-recorded at my own expense.

Do you have the website where you got the public domain version?
@@myhandlehasbeenmishandled imslp.org/wiki/Nocturnes%2C_Op.9_(Chopin%2C_Fr%C3%A9d%C3%A9ric) - Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 - under both US and EU these are Public Domain recordings.
The next iteration of patent trolls have emerged. It is ridiculous that you have to deal with it.
It's very frustrating and unfair.
Oh GDI someone fraudulently claimed recordings from IMSLP? That's actually a huge blow to educational content for classical music.
Very unfortunate and frustrating that the first upload has to be taken down for unfair reasons - commenting to boost the video in the algorithm! This interview is very eye-opening and inspiring for an aspiring uk-based cultural heritage practitioner like myself.
What was the reasons? I was surprised too, as I assumed this was a part 2.
I try and use only RUclips music (as naff as it is). In the past IMovie copyright free has gotten flagged. I also never use the same sound so if something gets nabbed....My whole content doesn't need taking down or cumbersome online edits.
@@davidhays2846 What? Who does that? and why would it get the video taken down? I don't get it, you said public domain.
Defeat the algorithm and the false prophets of the copyright strike! Defend Esoterica!
Reupload just means I watch it all over again!
Yes! I watch most of his videos multiple times 😊
Ngl, I think I needed it.
I'm from Scotland and agree with Stewart that our esoteric history isnt celebrated enough. I live in Hamilton and an old duke was interred into the local mausoleum in an Egyptian sarcophagus.. i dont know much more than that. I wish it was easier than it is to find out about all this, given it's on my doorstep, it should be!
Local historical groups or societies are extremely good sources for this type of thing, or even the local library.
@@user-se7es6uc8v thanks, yes a couple of local people have good blogs that I know of. In the main though, naturally, the focus is on our community history and the more mundane facts about the old aristos ☺️
Absolutely! It's a shame when history is forgotten and lost.
It's a joy when a historic house gets saved. It's great to hear the rest of this old home's history. Such a beautiful setting should insure a great future for the old building.
I watched this on the first upload. Great interview, I would love to make it to House Boleskine someday. I’m commenting to hopefully nudge the algorithm. I can’t believe their flagging the intro music 🤦♂️
What an awesome project! Would be cool to visit the house someday.
Keith gave me a tour of the house back in 2021 when I was hiking up country. super nice bloke, even gave me a lift to the bus stop after 😅
I was there about 6 years ago and it was just breathtakingly beautiful. There's was some teenagers doing a seance in the basement when we got there. So we left them alone and I got to do The Star Ruby ritual in the front yard....maybe yards away from where it might have been written? :)
Thanks for the Reupload ❤
In all seriousness, from this moment forward I will be referring to you as Dr. J. Because you are quite literally the Julius Erving of youtube scholarly content!
Remarkable interview! Clear, concise, direct and insightful! And I am so glad that you brought some much needed attention to this very important project. Bravo!
Looks like Keith needs to up his bookshelf game 😂
No bookshelf??
I don’t keep my books in my office. My library has a dedicated room with only a sofa and a wood burning stove 😊
A library is better, but maybe have a decorative bookshelf to serve as a backdrop for videos
I bet he’s got an entire library so he doesn’t need posture and flex
Down with fraudulent claims, best wishes for continued success on your channel!
Excellent content as usual, thank you. As a retired site manager and surveyor I found it very interesting to hear about the refurbishment work. For what it's worth, not hiring a site manager to save £40k is a false economy on this type of unique project, you'll waste more than that on screw ups (such as the stated hiring of tradesmen before they can work). While you're at it, these projects always need a clerk of works as well, it prevents things failing in the future and the inevitable expensive court cases to try and recover monies and hiring another contractor to put things right.
Agreed, having done tonnes of DIY and managed my own new build as a layperson, I would definitely hire a real manager to do serious or heritage work, it's mad to think someone outside even just the tradie social circle can wrangle the process without wastage and drama. People underestimate the power of relationships in that field and think they can just click their fingers and make diva plumbers and roofers act in concert. Lol. No.
I'll watch it twice while I clean today. No one puts our esoteric dr in the corner 😠
An outstanding interview! I supported the project as best I could by purchasing a piece of the old place. It's the least I can do to show thanks for the continued gifts of knowledge I've received
Looking like I'm going to be taking another trip north, long trip taking in the house and Loch and then maybe climb the other famous Scottish mountain while up there 😉
Wonderful country.
Great show ! Thanks
😃 Thank you for this conversation! Glad to watch such an interesting project! Success and good luck to Stewart, to Keith and to Justin! 😃
Note to self: Watch this after work tonight
Thoroughly enjoyed this discourse and the topics shared ESOTERICA X ❤❤❤
This channel is so great, I love what you cover and this was fantastic to hear all of you talk about. Thank you!!
Always love your work Dr Sledge. Mostly commenting today to appease the U̶n̶k̶n̶o̶w̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶D̶a̶r̶k̶ ̶G̶o̶d̶s̶ algorithm after having to reupload.
Esotericon at Boleskine !🎉
Have been watching this rebuild since 2020 via Facebook and have seen a wonderful progression over the years. Good to know the rebuild is in great minds and hands.
Fascinating, thank you! 🙏❤️🌹
Thank you; this was awesome.
Great video, I hope everything gets resolved with the fraudulent copyright claims.
Commenting to boost the algorithm. Tha no you for what you do. 🔓
Very interesting and informative presentation.
I am very impressed with Stewart's passion to bring everyone to the Highlands.
Very cool stuff!! Blessed be!!🙏
Keep up the good work. Hope the fraudulent company gets shut down soon
Thanks for this, very enjoyable and informative
Love from Mississippi 🇺🇲
I always wondered where this house was located and now I know. Thank you so much for this information and the insight in the current day activities❤
Amazing work all around. What a fascinating and meaningful project/body of work surrounding this culturally significant landmark.
i love these zoom discussions!
this is awesome! if I had got wind of this earlier I would've come to volunteer
Love your channel!
WHAT A STUNNING VIEW IT IS. BREATHTAKING REALLY.
GOOD WORK GUYS🙏
I LOOK FORWARD TO DOING A LIL PART EVEN AND GETTIN SCHOOLED BY YOU 3GUYS IS SOMETHING TO BEHOLD AINT IT🤟
One fortunate side effect of re-uploading these videos is that it is unearthing old content that I would not have sought out otherwise. Thanks for all your scholarly work Dr. Sledge.
Fascinating!
Since it's an 18th century house, is there any chance of it being a recognized/protected historical site?
For the algo.
Great work❤
May the project be spared any misfortune and become a beacon of a longed-for new integrative, holistic approach to the occult. It was a pleasure to watch, thank you.
Greetings from Germany
Yes,a new integrative holistic child sacrifices too.
This is a beautiful home & it’s wonderful to see the history of the home (pre-1899 & after) be maintained. Thanks for this conversation. 🗝️🚪🪆🪭

It has a beautiful severed head that bounces down the stairs at beautiful witching hour too.
Thank you for this. Always fascinated with this place but will never get to visit because of health and financial reasons..
This is fascinating
Great lessons.
Great channel!
Keep up the great work chaps. I have always wondered that by not completing the Abramelin at Boleskine if Crowley left a Portal open?
Would be great if the reopening of the house coincided with ‘revolt of the magicians’ being made into a movie.
We have a Crowley house ‘Carn Cottage’ derelict here in Cornwall.
Love to the haters and God speed.

That would be an ecumenical matter!
School trips and college trips to visit you can also have a wedding room as well there’s a lot to think about you could have people dressed up in period costumes taking them around
Awesome vid!
Very interesting 😊
I’m planning a trip to Scotland, I would LOVE to visit one day! I hail from the McCleary Clan, and want to see the Homelands of my ancestors ❤Loc Nessy calls!😂🐉🔥🐉🔥Had to edit because I have commented so many times, but I believe I’d like to Volunteer!
That’s a very exciting proposition!I’m a Farmer/ Gardener , maybe I could come Grow with the Project!
😃Will keep updated with your Gatherings! 🌱⭐️🌱⭐️🌱⭐️
I have never before made the connection that the "sprawling bungalow" abode Blowne House, inhabited by the renowned occultist Crow (in the first Cthulhu Mythos inspired stories I ever read, by Brian Lumley), must be inspired by Boleskine House and Crowley.
It has probably been really obvious to everyone else. 😅
❤❤❤
Do what ye will an ye harm none. Glad that’s the new law there!😊
Thanks, gentlemen!
And I love the progression through time plan!
After seeing the beauty of the Loch Ness, I can't imagine Crowley wanting to live anywhere else.
🌞
There's a seller on Etsy who sells the (in) famous Abramelin oil, with a special version containing wood from Boleskine House for those who want a connection to Uncle Al.
It’s a pity it’s not near I would love to help I live in Preston 🤗👍
i would love to volunteer there
The past is that which lasts.
It could be a a play house for plays also and events out doors also with a big tent out side with events
Here's a comment to appease the -demiurge- Algorithm
Great interview and update. There’s something there that’s… off, if that makes any sense. That site legit seems cursed, for lack of a better explanation. I’d love to see Esoterica tackle Crowley’s one time heir, Jack Parsons. I know it’s a topic that’s been done to death, but I’d love to see Parsons get the Esoterica treatment (the history, locations, rituals, and especially the texts written by Parsons himself that are not easy to come by). You just have to go easy on the Hubbard part, more or less; the little conspiracy theorist in me thinks that part of the Parsons story is why the series “Strange Angel” never got a third season, lol.
“Faulty electrics”… righttttt 😉
You could have a shop all about the past and the present

I agree with you 💯💯💯... It's OUTRAGEOUS that these "dancing assholes" (😂lol)... Are able to get away with this kind of stuff 🤬...
It's just wrong 💯...
It's just one of the reasons that I became a member of your Patreon at Esoterica tho ...
Mainly I just love the work that you put out!!! ...
So, thanks again Dr Sledge!!! ...
I love your channel 💯❤️😊...
Has this channel covered Crowley's relationship with Jack Parsons of JPL labs?
No, too recent. Monthly cover things prior to the 19th century
@@TheEsotericaChannel that's weird Cowley himself didn't exist before the 19th century... He was born in 1875🙄
this is wild
Commenting boosts algorithm? I'm gonna comment when I watch on my phone all the time.
Blue lodge if you build it they will come… we bought our part to help!
Season one of FX’s Highland Horror Story😂❤
Premise
Because of enchantments set there by Crowley The unalive can come and go from the house as they please.
After sitting for years demolished and abandoned, a renovation crew shows up and things get🤔 🧐 interesting?
one shudders to think what it was that keith saw
I wish these guys all the luck, maybe they should hire out the grounds for wild camping etc, all means to make money for the repairs
It's interesting that you say "bow-less-kin". I've always said "bol-less-k-eye-ne"... I wish I knew someone with an archaic Invernessshire accent who could show us all which one is right. Although, I'm looking forward to hearing Stewart say it, 'cus he might not be the right region, but at least he's from the right country.
But, linguistics aside, I'm love to know more about the background of "King of The Witches" Alex Saunders claim that he completed the Abramelin... It's like "You know the one Crowley couldn't manage to complete... yeah, I've done that."
Huzzah!!

The location of SatanCon 2027…? 🤔
how can you guys not mention that the house is on the "Loch Ness"!!
He did.
But because of the past will it be a happy place again or would it show it’s darker side all over again 🤗👍🎩
Are MOLESKINE notebooks called their name bc of this house? 😮
Wow great timing. I'm writing a funny story from the point of view that Christian Authors, Jacob Aranza, Dan Peters, Eric Holmberg and Bill Schnoebelens "true stories" about this subject actually contained any facts. 😂❤😅🎉❤😂😅
It is to think if someone remodeled the property, hypothetically speaking, I mean to go back to doing things that under this new vibration of the world could be feasible and hypothetically available.
There are people who know a lot and it doesn't seem crazy to me that someone has the power, hypothetically speaking and with all due respect, to be able to carry out something after a remodel...
It is just something very hypothetical and he is not accusing anyone today or saying that someone is going to do it. 😂
If Lorna shore could do a music concert there 😍🎉
House By the Cemetery. Wasn’t that a movie?
Oh
Forgetting the name of the building I was expecting the tale of the villa in Sicily, which was really pretty stupid considering the name "Boleskine."
looks like james may .. anyone else seeing this ?
Did you say the name of a record producer three times?
For your new opening sequence just do a comp amongst your viewers for a new piece of music, there are bound to be some talented peeps amongst them who would like to contribute a jingle or some shit like that.
Already lining up to get it re-recorded but it's still not fair - I'm going to fight this
You need to make it’s mark so people would go back again
You want a concert? You need Hawkwind.
