    This might be my new favourite channel. I think these regional videos are soooo valuable both a crash course and recommendations on GOOD and accessible/affordable wines and sub-regions. As an example whats the point of knowing all 20-30 sub-regions and appelations of somewhere if only 4-5 of them produce BOTH good and somewhat affordable wines.
    These videos are a huuuuge help basically a fast forward button to start buying intelligently faster.
    I appreciate you having learned all this stuff and sharing the knowledge youve learned. I appreciate these regional videos alot. Perfect some new world videos based on region and/or varietal would be cool as well.
    Cheers and Merry Christmas

    Thank you!!! So much great information. As a mom of two, I rely on shorter RUclips videos for education and you always deliver thorough, extensive commentary. The more explanation, the better. Have a Merry Christmas 🎄 would love to hear about more regions in Italy and France. 🤗

    Great video. The Italian naming conventions for their wine always throw me off.

    I do love Babaresco wines. Usually when I keep my expensive wines to age, I love to drink declassified wines from that region and it's worth the money

    Excellent dissection of the wine choices. You are charmingly
    expressive. May I inquire how many bottles of Piedmont wines have you had while you are making this video? It works:)

    I saw a $15 Barolo at Trader Joe's today. Thinking I might pick one of those up after payday

    What about Roero?

    • @TheSommNextDoor
      @TheSommNextDoor  2 года назад

      Yes Roero is also a great place to find value wines. It's pretty hard to find for most consumers in the US. Hopefully that changes
