Loved the overall video, very informative and professional. We have updated our 2025 models with a slimmer body though as this year we spent a lot of time revisiting the Erebus. One to note, which you mentioned, is as the arm contour bevel. Thank you for pointing out the Walnut piece area of concern, I’ll bring it up with the factory.
Glad it was helpful! Yeah really cool overall. I want to give them another try at some point in the future. Best thing about it was the neck shape. One of the best I felt. Just bummed this particular one had that rough grain that didn't work out.

Yeah man I couldn't really see that being a huge benefit. Cool potential I suppose bit yeah I think they really need to make thinner bodies. Would just make more sense overall.
@@TopShelfGear I dunno, it seems like a made up reason. Guitars with floating trems are usually really thin. Like the Ibanez S series, the middle part of the body is as thin as it possibly can be to fit the tone block. Petrucci models. Even my Ibanez AZ is thin. I’m comparing it to my schecter Keith Merrow with a fixed bridge right now. They’re almost the same.
@bearmadden1776 I agree, that definitely sounds made up. The main issue Ibanez ran into with the thinness of the s series was the electronics if I remember correctly, not the trem.
I love open pore wood on a neck. I want my neck to feel like the floor of a 1700s farmhouse. If there isn't a genuine risk of splinters I'm not interested.

Definitely a great brand overall. considering a real blackmachine guitar sells used for $10,000+ these days, $1,000-1500 sounds pretty reasonable. Lol
