At 14:30, I love those Snappers. I just got done fixing one up. It's a 1999 Hi-Vac and it does a really nice job mowing.

My brother was a snapper dealer and I have never owned anything but, in a walk behind. New commercial ones close to $800. But they were bought out by Briggs and now not like they used to be. Mine is still a 1988 commercial. Wore the original engine out, put a new engine on it and still use it today!!

Those old snappers cut great.
I have never had a Loncin lawn mower but have had several Loncin atvs and they are decent. Those old Snappers have a cult following and are well built but never bring much money.
I usually get the snapper lover, who says I remember my Dad's snapper, loved that machine, and now I have my own, they have a followers, with deep pockets, last one I sold for, and it wasn't a high vac, was 250.
Crazy! No nut is giving me anything like that here
When I have a snapper up for sale, I never lower the price, and it may take some time, but it sells close to asking.
I had a snapper high vac with a Tecumseh engine. That thing would cut great and pick up leaves like nobody’s business!

If someone paid $300 for one of those today, he is a NUT! Those were nice mowers and they are bullet proof and easy to work on. 30 years ago every landscaper had them. I owned one and i flipped one last year for $100. On the powersmart, will a briggs bolt up to that deck? 🤔

A 30 year old Snapper push mower, if you can get $80 for it, sell it.
Probably never changed the oil or ran it low on oil in the Loncin engine. That piston is donski.
I bet what happened was a low oil or sudden stop and the piston got screwed and stuck which then broke the piston

To do what? Crank bolt? You’ll break the bolt and won’t be able to remove the blade adapter
