Thanks guys! Aussie family here who’ve done Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong before, and now keen to tick Shanghai off the list so I’m loving reliving some of our trips through you and lapping up all your Shanghai trips. Such a lovely, relatable, happy family - your vlogs are so relaxing and a pleasure to watch. Keep them coming please 😍 Thanks again for all the great tips.
Thank you for all the tips. My husband and I went to Shanghai Disney last September 2023. One day visit is indeed not enough 😅 the park is massive and there are a lot of amazing stuff to do there. We'll remember your list specially Number 6, to avoid setbacks and also to be able to use the Disney App properly. 😊
We were there at Easter. Exact dates in the park were the 1st and 2nd April 😊 It’s a massive park and we didn’t manage to fit everything into our two days (we did take a 2 hour afternoon break each day) and wished we had had 3 days to properly explore the park
I really want to visit Shanghai Disneyland sometime this month before school starts in October. I'm worried about the 144-hour transit visa, Mandarin language barrier, if I have access to my debit card, lack of Google Maps and Google Translate, and how to use transportation from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Disneyland and the Bund city center.
We went through a lot of your questions on our other Shanghai Disneyland planning video if you want to check that out ☺️ It all seems complicated at first but once you know what you need to do it’s fairly straightforward and being able to go is absolutely worth the extra planning it takes 😃
how did you guys work the china visa? I'm tying to do HK Disney and Shanghai on same trip, not sure if the 144 hour visa free system would work but would need to do Shanghai first on way to Hong Kong!?
We did that, London - Shanghai - Hong Kong. You have to have it as your transit country so the ones either side must be a different country. We have another video on the channel that explains it all a bit more 😊 ruclips.net/video/-g19M6fzUNk/видео.htmlsi=8ViAiEDztY6ibbaV
24th 25th September are the 2 days we be at the Shanghai Disneyland. We staying at Toy the story Hotel so we get the early access into the park. Anyhow are all the rides open for early access or is it just a select few that are open early? We only in China for 4 days 2 half days and 2 full days. Do we need to get express VPN and a Chinese SIM from the airport or do we need to get the eSIM and the VPN?
They had good ride availability in the early access when we visited but they do say on the website it is subject to availability on the day. We used Holafly eSIMs which means you don’t need the VPN although we do have Nord VPN which would work if you chose a different sim.
@@TheKershawsAdventures Thank you very much for all the info and tips for Shanghai Disneyland. Love watching your vides. Wish we could do All 4 parks at WDW. But I moved in 2020 from U.K. to live in the Philippines as I married a Filipino and it’s a cheaper and warmer and a sunnier lifestyle which it great. I do not miss the U.K. WDW is to far away and more expensive. The Asian Disney parks are pretty close. So we did Hong Disneyland in March Shanghai Disney in a middle of this month and then Tokyo middle of May next year.
We paid with our uk clarity credit card, how far in advance are you trying to book? We found if you manage to get to the page too soon that the cards wouldn’t work, we finally got it to go through at five months out ☺️
Just went there last week with family . Had a very bad experience though, the rides were smooth, it was the people , the staffs . I encountered people selling scalper tickets at the entrance , scammers were lurking everywhere inside the emporiums , asking if you want discount . We didn’t feel the human warmth from the staffs, not welcoming or greeted by the staffs, didn’t even see the smiles on their faces, there’s such a big difference between Shanghai and Tokyo Disneyland . The local people were rude and always cut q .,talking at the top of their lungs. This is the worst Disneyland we had ever been to.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience there. We did see the people selling the fake Disney merch but security were removing them from the park mostly. The queue cutting is annoying (we were warned about this beforehand) but you just have to stand your ground and not move out of the way which seems to work. Thats a shame the cast members you encountered weren’t welcoming to you, we luckily didn’t find that they were all super helpful and friendly
Shanghai Disneyland is absolutely different. It’s uniqueness that draws people in.
Yes it’s so good, we loved it!

It’s an amazing park isn’t it! Are you booked to go back? Glad some of the tips have been helpful ☺️
Love this. We still need a personal sit down, while we’re in ‘Orlando though! 😂
Absolutely! Need to sort that out, be here before we know it now!
Tha entry Disneyland pass including the rides pass for normal one day. Or need to take every time pass for each ride.
Cool ❤
🥰
Did you go during peak summer time? We are going in November which is autumn/winter and trying to decide whether to do 2 or 3 days.

What vaccines did you get for travel to shanghai from the uk?
There weren't any that were mandatory just a few that were recommended.

The Asian parks are amazing, you’re going to love Shanghai and Tokyo! Hope you have the best time!
Can you book more than 1 standby pass when you arrive at the park guys?
I actually don’t know sorry, there was only the one that had to be booked when we went
As a tourist visiting Shanghai Disneyland, do they ask for your passport when you present your ticket at the entrance?
Yes, or at your hotel if you buy from there. You have to keep your passport on you in China as well
Hiii, Ive been trying to book a disney hotel but they dont accept international credit cards. How did u pay?

'm doing 14 days, with 8 days in Disneyland, only do certain parts each day
That will be an amazing trip! Have a magical time 😊

any mickey mouse balloons for sale inside shanghai disneyland?? my main reason for the trip..
Yes I’m fairly certain you can get them 👍
@@TheKershawsAdventures because disneyland is never complete without mickey mouse balloons.. hehehe..
Can i bring my child 3 year's old?
I would say so, there are plenty of rides that they will be able to do and the shows/parades are fab to watch!
How do you go about booking Shanghai Disney?
We have a full video coming Tuesday on how we booked and planned the Shanghai part of our trip 😊
❤❤❤
😊
Did you find that cultural differences/ language barriers took from the magic? Im so worried i would just hate being crammed in! 🫣
Not at all, there’s a few differences but nothing that impacts the magic at all! We had a fab time and would definitely go back!
