Ok, short update: after checking some easier solutions on the internet it appears that sometimes Nokia phones (much like iPhones or Samsung phones) do not properly recognize their screen. My problem was probably caused by accidently turning the phone on when no screen was connected. The fix that did it for me was by performing a forced shut down by pressing vol. up, vol. down and the power button at the same time. Then the screen was connected and I powered up the phone. PROBLEM SOVLED ^^
The screen was a "swark LCD Display Compatible with Nokia 6 (6.1 2018) / Nokia 6 II 2 2018 TA-1043 TA-1045 TA-1050 TA-1054 TA-1068 5.5" Black Touchscreen Digitizer Assembly Glas" and it came with some tools. The cost was around 55€, but without the tools should be under 50€.
It is possible to change only the glass. BUT all the approaches I have seen require you to take the screen out and use some high precision tools to remove the LCD from the glass. When the glass is cracked (depending on how much) the LCD can and in extreme cases will break anyway, when trying to remove the screen. But I have never tried doing this, so success may vary.
