Repairs to water damage are done only to recover data. The galvanic reaction will eat it in few weeks. Washing in ultrasound, repelling water with IPA, baking in climate chamber, etc. nothing will stop it. BUT the video is five stars, superb work. Thank You!
Thanks @ Trlnyc Bamberg for making this video. It just good enough showed me what to do and repair my phones USB-C connector by replacing it. Hope your succesfull with your repairs :D
Its on a seperate flexcable, I replaced my usbc connector and this headphone connector came lose (probably by prying open the glass) 10 euro on aliexpress I see em (the headphone connector has a flexpacb part going to the right (near the volume up btn). You need to remove the Glass/LCD and midframe part to get there. no screws I think.
Hey TrInyc, do you know anything about the low volume issue on Nokia 6.1? I have tried everything including factory reset to no avail. Should I go ahead and replace the earpiece speaker? How do you solve this issue?
Hi, could be either earpiece itself or motherboard issue. I had them both, if it is earpiece itself ease and cheap, if it is motherboard issue no way to fix it.
@@trlnycbamberg3726 Hey, thanks for your response. I might order a new earpiece online (they seem cheap enough) and try my luck. Annoying because other than this it's a good phone.
@@trlnycbamberg3726 Because your title is bullshit and i waster about 10 minutes of my life on this crap video. It is just a teardown which there are many out there.
Yeah Im sad too this video dint show it fixed, but THIS video helped me fix my phone, repaired the USB-C connector by replacing the board at the bottom. So some good has come from this video
