Dude... XD I'm from Grand Rapids, and La Dispute used to play there ALL the time. Like they were the biggest local band for the longest time before they blew up. I just wanna say you nailed the vibe perfectly with the whiny, sceechy, yelling poetry slam vibes. Just beautiful. I'm sad I'm just now hearing about this, but I'm glad it's in my life now.

The bigger they got, the less they tour. Late 00’s you could catch 3-4 shows a year as they passed through town.
I saw them in Kalamazoo when they were still in high school i think, that was a rad show, at Kraftbrau if I'm not mistaken. So glad I stumbled on this parody haha
