I probably would have fallen if I had to wear heels while walking hunched over. It probably would have been better if the dress was longer to hide the shoes.
I don't really think the heel critique was fair to Maddy considering how the look worked. She was basically bent in half for most of that runway to give the illusion that her head is waist high without looking like a giant - the illusion is done by building a torso to sit on the queens shoulder while her head pokes out which adds 2-3 feet of height depending on the proportions - it'd be pretty much impossible to walk in heels like that without looking extremely hobbled. If the sacrifice of seeing such a unique look on the runway is a flat, so be it. I'd rather that than have her look 8 feet tall to do the illusion fully upright, or risk her being injured trying to walk like that in heels...that kind of pressure would be *terrible* for her knees and god knows drag race has lost enough contestants to knee injuries in the last few seasons.
Gottmik had SO much less energy for things that she liked as opposed to things she hated and I find that so incredibly entertaining!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 She was so at a loss when something was good!!! Like, "I mean.....I like it 🤷🏾♀️"

If you watch the Untucked for this episode he does show and verbalize a little bit of his understanding of the art and sense of queer community, and the impact that witnessing it had on him as a human being. I don't really think the heel critique was fair to Maddy considering how the look worked. She was basically bent in half for most of that runway to give the illusion that her head is waist high without looking like a giant - the illusion is done by building a torso to sit on the queens shoulder while her head pokes out which adds 2-3 feet of height depending on the proportions - it'd be pretty much impossible to walk in heels like that without looking extremely hobbled.
If the sacrifice of seeing such a unique look on the runway is a flat, so be it. I'd rather that than have her look 8 feet tall to do the illusion fully upright, or risk her being injured trying to walk like that in heels...that kind of pressure would be *terrible* for her knees and god knows drag race has lost enough contestants to knee injuries in the last few seasons.

Now... the jokes about him being straight - he is straight, it's just a fact. As long as the jokes are not mean-spirited or disrespectful to him as a person I think it's pretty much fair ground. Also, he's a comedian, he gets it, he knows what a joke is and what is an insult. I don't think people give him enough credit yet but I believe we will see in time
