So here for Ganj emphasising how many iconic DR references she's responsible for in this interview. She had a really defining influence on the tone and canon of the show and it rules that she's owning that.

I mean I can see the conversation around it cause it definitely wasn’t a landslide in either direction but Alyssa did spend a long time turned to the back and fiddling with the money gun that didn’t work so I understand why she sashayed
Totally agree. And Kerri didn't even deserve the bottom 3. Jorgeous did so bad this episode yet she got a pass. RuPaul needs to retire. She will forever be a legend, but now she lost her ability to judge.

The lip sync isn't everything, though. Winning the lip sync isn't necessarily enough to make up for a bad performance in the challenge; especially if one contestant was WAY worse than the other person in the bottom.
It's just an opportunity to impress RuPaul enough to be saved from elimination, but winning might still not be enough.
Remember though that they lipsynch to 3+ minute long songs and we see about 45 seconds on tv. So the ‘long time’ alyssa spent w the gun and ponytail wouldn’t have seemed that long during the realtime lipsync, but was really emphasised by the editing to make her look worse.
Orion is giving pearl vibes so far and if she did Pearl's “Do I have something on my face?” in her own way it would be funny lol

This challenge reminded me of the UnTucked reenactment challenge on season 5. It wasn’t exactly the same but it was genuinely funny and was great!

The editing for Maddy's group is a bit off. They definitely have a better plan and funnier scenes based on the previous clips but they're not as coherent as Willow's in the final video.

The Super Tease was the funniest challenge we've had in a long time, I love when Drag Race pokes fun at itself. Also I think it's pretty clear at this point that Angeria is gonna snatch the crown.

Glad to see them call out Kornbread for the flat hair, Deja for the JLo outfit that the judges loved for some reason, and Kerri for the lacking lip sync (and her not deserving to be in the bottom). It's just so validating :')

@@valalava1 I think it's proportions. The same type of wig on Kerri will look different on Kornbread. Since Kornbread's head is bigger and her neck is shorter, having a taller wig lengthens her and makes all her proportions more even.

I think Alyssa gave the most gracious goodbye on Drag Race.. She was sweet, sincere and kind. I hope she comes back for All Stars. Kylie winning All Stars 6 is the comeback of the Century. This proves that early eliminated queens may have had a bad day. This doesn't necessarily define their drag.

Maddie’s look wasn’t the one she originally had, her insta shows a look inspired by JLO’s appearance in “The Cell” showed so much more of what the judges wanted to see.
Not that it would have mattered anyways, Maddie won’t win, no matter how well she does she’s simply there as a punching bag and I doubt she’ll ever get a truly positive critique

Her St.Vincent talent drag look I loved. And appreciated that a drag can do a modern female point of view on women. Modern drag doesn't look like all well sculpted Barbie's. I want more alternative Drag from this show. Pretty and wit we have seen, now we want different in expression, not different in what they are as everyday person.

I didn't think Alyssa was gonna make Top 4 or win the season or anything, but I don't feel like she got the attention she deserves. She was super polished. I somewhat understood a bit of her critiques and also what her intentions were. It seemed like the judges wanted to see more of who Alyssa Hunter *IS*, but she was trying to constantly show versatility from EP 1 and not get pigeonholed as just one thing- namely a pageant queen. I think she needed to better establish herself first and then show versatility. idk. maybe I'm wrong. But I felt like she was trying to be everything she thought they wanted and lost a bit of herself. But also, she was incredibly charming and polished and talented and I wish her lots of success.
I gotta say, there's always talk about a certain demographic not winning yet or whatever, and I find it kind of bonkers that a Puerto Rican queen hasn't won the show yet. There's been so much talent out of PR and I look forward to eventually seeing one of those queens take home the crown. And while I do think you have to come into drag race fully prepared, I do wish there was maybe some kind of assistance for queens who don't speak English as a first language. Just cuz sometimes I feel like those queens use it as an excuse for not being funny, and it's like Nah bitch you just aren't funny. But I think if maybe there was a translator or something so they could express their ideas in Spanish first and get help translating them into English it might work better. idk. It just seems like non- English speakers are constantly going home on acting challenges and it's kinda frustrating. I don't have the solution, but I have to imagine there's a solution of some sort out there.
