What happens when you cross a Mussorgsky with a Shostakovich? You get a night in the luny bin, a sore ass and a promise of more to come. It's like watching a train wreck; you can't turn away. He's kind of a Paganini at the organ. Is this the Devil's child or H. P. Lovecraft back with a score to settle. Fascinating. And where's my smelling salts?

It’s not a piece, he made it up on the spot
The theme is from BWV 1060
The theme from Brahms is that of the 2nd mvmt from the 4th symphony
Vova Hrenov Well, you are correct! Thank you for pointing this out to us. (But it still sounds like Theme from Star Wars.). Brahms was first, so maybe Williams imitated it. Regardless of our bickering, the organist has done a fine job of the improvisation, and very gave us a very artistic interpretation. I do not understand the criticisms. If you cannot say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

The guy’s musicianship and technology is there for all to see but, pleasant to listen to NO F....g WAY. Gimmicky does not get anywhere near it!! Would love to hear him playing something sensible not this tripe. So UGLY!!
Maybe so but a signifant percentage of recent classical composition it either a protrait of the composer’s insanity or the collective madness of our species. We can look away but can we claim such artforms have no value?
