The more episodes I see in this series, the more I feel that this method suits my temperament much more than the other ways of modeling in Blender! 😃 I hope you'd show us more methods like lofting, bridging, extruding along the curve, spinning/lathing/sweeping, etc. with CAD Sketcher, to create more complex shapes. Also, please show how to make use of the Bézier curve produced by Sketcher.
Can we use Sketcher to create a shape like a steering wheel with three spokes? (A cylindrical base, a doughnut-shaped ring on top, and three spokes that interconnect these two shapes.)
Yes you can use this for the base profile (as if you was looking at the object from the top) and then you would bevel the edges to smooth off the shape.
@@MJ3D_Blender I am unable to visualize that. Could you make shorts on such user doubts/requests/questions? (A Shorts section would complement the longer videos nicely!) Thanks in advance!
I just made the exact same sketch next to it and suddenly it worked..then I tried to bevel the old one and it worked?? looks pretty bugged. Try to remove constraints, I feel like this helped but IDK
I tried everything but bevel don't work. So I deleted the rectangle and made an arc connecting the point of circle to line of the rectangle, than its works

Wow, the results are stunning. Thank-you for this tutorial
Glad you enjoyed 😊

Overall, loving these tutorials! This one didn't work on the mac though, errors at the bevel step, had to switch to windows
Hello, the bevel tool at 07:20 gives me error: "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'connection_points'", why is that?
Same

you only had 1 sketch. if you went back to the sketch to modify the radius you would be starting from scratch basically. is there a better way?
