- Rux is your personal desktop robot toy powered by ChatGPT. Is this something that can improve your WFH experience? I've played around with it for the last month or so and I'm here to share my thoughts.

i love the ending AI voice... so so so cute...
Super cute, and the AI voice at the end was the cutest of all. Based on the $400 price I think I'd rather stick with WALL-E who doesn't throw temper tantrums! haha
that is pretty darn cool…. It’d be nice to say “rux, take a nap!”
Super cute Rux robot
my annoying cat sitting on my laptop might either be scared by this or entertained. worth a shot, i think :)
Where is your Wall-E from?
There seems to be only 3 people on social media reviewing this robot, 2 super positive reviews which unsurprisingly are on the campaign site and this one. Trying to figure out if this thing is worth getting is no clear. Rux seems to get confused (have a ?) sign most of the time from what I have deduced for the various videos. Is this worth the money?
I think you really have to come to terms that what you are buying is more of a toy than anything actually useful. If the current features are enough to spark a little enjoyment to your day then maybe consider. It doesn’t change the fact that it is quite expensive though. On the bright side, future updates can only make it better.
I’m stuck on the Wi-Fi page I connected to my Wi-Fi. It says bind it, but it stays on the page and it still says it’s waiting to connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Try to put your phone on Airplane mode when setting up Rux
@@MichaelSoledad OK I’ll try that for some reason when it says it’s connected to Wi-Fi it connects it says bind, but then it stays on that page even after I hit save the same page stays there. I tried to back out, thinking I could back out and when I back out, it starts all over, I reset it a few times I’m going crazy but thank you. I will definitely try the airplane mode in a bit now I think I have Wi-Fi in the house but I temporarily paused it to put 2.4 just in case if that was the problem and I didn’t even work but I think I’ll put it back on 2.4 and airplane mode and I pray that works.
Did you get it work? have you found it was worth buy?
@@mariettemayisa I did not try putting my phone in airplane mode yet. Was busy with work but I will try it tonight and let you know.
@@MichaelSoledad OK I just tried in airplane mode and I still get nothing. It says bind it and on the robot it says activate the robot after viewing the robot user guide in the app but I can’t go forward. I hope this isn’t a 300 and something dollar dud I’m using a new iPhone 15 Pro Max.
