I’ve always loved ave Maria, but for some reason I never thought to look it up on a violin until today, but I can not think of a better suited instrument. Truly beautiful.

Unfortunately, the song is a tribute to Mary, who according to the Roman Catholic religion teaches is the Mother of God, and co-mediator with Jesus. How can she be the mother of God? Did she pre-exist God? And she is not co-mediator with Jesus. The Bible says,
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, (1 Tim. 2:5-6)
Jesus Christ is the only mediator. Only Jesus gave Himself as a ransom. Mary did not give herself as a ransom. With due respect, she is not a mediator between God and man.
David Brown The Bible says,
"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time," (1 Tim. 2:5-6)
Mary is not a mediator between man and God. She did not die for the Church. Jesus did. This might injure your spiritual pride, if you are Catholic, but praying to Mary won't do you any good. You need to repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ, not Mary, to save you.
The Apostle Paul wrote,
"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

WWJD? Our Lord fulfilled the commandments to perfection, including honoring his mother and we, following His example, honor her too. She professed that all generations would call her Blessed because of the role almighty God chose for her and true Christians of every generation have honored her with this title. Mary prays to her Son for the Church, just as she did for the newlyweds at the wedding in Cana.

In his short life Schubert composed some great works of music. None greater than Ave Maria, which was brilliantly performed here. Just magnificent!

I cannot love this video enough! The music is enchanting, the venue is heavenly, and the emotion flows from it so perfectly. Its my go-to when I want to connect with the beauty of the past. Ms. Petryshak is angelic.
I know people have their own preferences, but, What kind of people dislike this beautiful masterpiece well played by an excellent violinist?. Or maybe I'm wrong and they are masters of music and they found mistakes that I have not found. It would be the only reason for disliking this performance of this violinist.

Simple they disliked it because they have no sense of musicality. Also, some people are so sour that they spread negativity whenever they wake up. I play the violin and I know this performance is EXCELLENT. Bravo!!

She is beautiful as is the music, but the gift is in reality thousands and thousands of hours and many, many years practise. No one is born with skill like that it is earned playing the same notes over and over again, she is extraordinary.

@@chinncannon Well, I have a son who is a teaching professional tennis player, and I have a son who is a teaching professional pianist. They tell me that a "gifted" person has ability that can't be taught.
Some people can practice just as much as the gifted ones, but they will never be as good. Roger Federer is an example of a gifted tennis player. Practice as much as you want, you won't be as good as him because he is a special athlete (gifted). And it's the same with musicians.
