I use to wrestle for northern Michigan and attend classes the y could not of found a better place to train them Marquette peaceful pretty great place to enjoy life I never saw a police car there in the years I lived there
I love the U.P. and go up there frequently. Manistique, Marquette, even Iron Mountain are all great places. I can't imagine a better place to train Greco than at Northern Michigan. I wish the program got more publicity and could attract more athletes.
hands down my favorite moment of the Olympic Trials~ when the officials gave a ridiculous stalling call against Payton for the 2nd match in a row, late in the match with Payton ahead 😝 and Payton springs back up to his feet and denies Woods and the officials their 5 points. Screw then and their BS... and, Payton scores again, for good measure!
