Point of order. Lincoln didn't win a single southern state. Ergo anyone who owned slaves literally couldn't have meaningfully voted any harder against Lincoln.
I mean most southern states didn’t even put him on the ballot in 1860. And in 1864, the only elections that were held in the south at all were in Louisiana and Tennessee, and even then only because those two states had been effectively captured by the Union and were being governed by military governments. Actually, it is cheaper to have employees, then slaves.. because you have to feed, clothe, water, protect them, and give them ways to entertain them.
fun fact...the slaves took an extremely long time to fully be free. even after the law was passed they had to send people to tell the slaves they werenfree since owners were basically gatekeeping them.
Considering the fact that the 13th amendment makes a specific exemption for prisoners doing involuntary labor, and black people seem to go to prison longer than white people for the same crimes, one could argue that the slaves were never fully freed.
@@rickyrhodes9008They go to jail longer because they commit more crimes statistically and also more likely to be repeat offenders, which the criminal system is harsh against. Source is the FBI.
@@OneAnarchistBoi Yes, black people commit more crime on average, but why is that? Have you ever followed the question further than that or do you just stop when you find something that validates your bigotry?
And if you look at crime statistics, accounting for all other factors (including frequency and severity of crimes committed), you'll see a higher rate of incarceration among black and brown people relative to white people, and you will also see POC getting more time for the same crimes.
@@OneAnarchistBoi is that the same guys that sold drugs to black neighourhoods to fund their terror organizations throughout the americas to create banana republics aka enslaved states to corporations which are still the biggest fruit companies today.
I did NOT expect half the video the be a "Whole New World" parody holy frick I'm dying
I love that you're taking requests from people, super fun to see the ideas people write on the Discord show up on RUclips. [:
Holy shit we are evolving. Now he starts singing, what's next? Crazy dance moves?
"Now they're a whole five fifths"
BRO 😭
Love the commitment to the bit on that song
Bro turned into a Disney princess.
The commitment to the part of the song that goes “dont you dare pass civil rights” made me lose it 😂
I love the reveal that he was the guy who shot Abraham
Reminded me of how hilarious that joke you made about the 3/5ths compromise in another video to come full circle at 5 fifths.
2nd part: When Wilkes Booth doesn’t show up for dinner
Alvin the chipmunk cameo was unexpected ngl

Republican Snowflakes is kinda hittin right on point these last couple years lol.
You are aware republicans were against slavery right?
@@LiamBarnes-e1i yeah.... but today's Republicans do suck.
@@LiamBarnes-e1i Yes. Then the party change happened. Republicans became democrats, Democrats became Republicans.
So to answer your question, Yes, I am well aware, that the current republicans we have today, are the descendants of racists, bigots, and slave owners.
@@LiamBarnes-e1i You are aware that names mean nothing, right? The people of that Republican Party are long dead, and the ones today spout similar bigoted rhetoric to that of any other regressive in human history.
@@LiamBarnes-e1i Republicans these days are the ones that are "anti-woke". The irony is the joke.
Sinking into his seat with every inconvenience 😅
That full fifths joke was amazing oh my goodness.
Thats the best Zach Star Video in a while 😂👍
Point of order. Lincoln didn't win a single southern state. Ergo anyone who owned slaves literally couldn't have meaningfully voted any harder against Lincoln.
1.9% of the population.
I mean most southern states didn’t even put him on the ballot in 1860. And in 1864, the only elections that were held in the south at all were in Louisiana and Tennessee, and even then only because those two states had been effectively captured by the Union and were being governed by military governments. Those two states did technically vote for Lincoln in 1864 but I think they ended up throwing out their electoral votes anyway.
"Now they're a full five fifths." That was a bar
Just throwing it out there, the income tax didn’t exist until 1913, so you wouldn’t have to print out that W4 form…at least not for another 50 years!
I love how much it switches from 1865 to present like
“But I have to make a post on indeed”
“But those are MY crops”
“But I still have to print out the W4 form”
A good sequel to this is John Wilkes Booth by wizards with guns. Really funny.
Unfortunately he never made it back to dinner
Still better than the live action Aladdin
This is perfect because I’m literally learning about this is History this week.
2:23 to the end had me dying
I forgot segregation was still a thing during then 💀1:40
This is probably why i know to myself in the next like hundreds of years, we may have equality in gender, race, and sxual preferences. We're probably just going through this video phase.
That “what’s up John” takes on a whole new meaning at the end there 4:06 😭😭
“Woke republicans” is a pretty funny detail
