I am walking across the stage within the next few hours, I can't believe I made it. Thank you for being my source of serendipity 3 years ago when I was a nursing student, once upon a time. You have inspired myself, as well as many others in our journeys to becoming Medical Technologists, and will continue to do so for many years to come. Words cannot begin to express the level of gratitude I have for you. Thank you Dominique.
Aweee Congratulations!!!! 🎉🥳🎊 Thank you for your kind comment, I’m glad that the videos were helpful. Good luck as you enter the workforce & begin your journey in the lab!! 🔬💕
I love that there are so many opportunities to learn new things built into this career. I also had no idea you met with other departments in the hospital- very cool!
Yes! I believe academic/teaching hospitals have more integration of lab services into the healthcare team. I didn’t really interact with other healthcare professionals as much before.
I'm 1 year as an MLT at the middle of this month, and I still feel like an imposter and insecure. Everyone tells me I'm doing great and they love having me on the team. But, i feel like I'm way less intelligent than them, any time i make a mistake it's like my world is ending, and I don't know if this was the right move for me. I want to be a tech and I want to be a good tech. But, I don't feel like I am and it's a horrible feeling to feel like you're letting down patients and your team because you're not good enough.
I think once you’re exposed to things more than once or more than a few times it’ll get better. Those people probably have years and years of experience so everything comes naturally to them at this point. It’s all about repetition so don’t beat yourself up. The fact that they say and show how much they love you shows that it’s all in your head 🫶🏾
Hang in there! Everyone has shared great advice. The learning curve can be pretty steep, but it just takes time. Remember to give yourself grace. You’re still learning 🫶🏾💕 each day, you will become more confident in your skills
The seller painted turquoise cabinets and an accent wall, which were so cute! I’m getting ready to TRY decorating this summer! But I lean more on the minimal side, so I’m not as creative as the Pinterest and TikTok posts I see 😂
@@domilarae I have soooo many pins and boards on Pinterest, it might be a little unhealthy lol. I agree though, I always feel so un-creative when I’m on there looking at decor and stuff 😂

The first time always feels like this but with time you will be surprised by yourself. Scientists are always learning

i know this is probabaly irrelevant question but if you have to get you blood checked for 12 things, would you need to get multiple blood tests done?
It depends on the 12 things?
