The Legendary Insurgent (Nod Commander) if by far the most effective one of the three playable commanders. He make the Brotherhood dreams and goals a reality. So of course he survived. Is EA who screwed up the later history.
The Nod Heavy Walkers such as the Avatars and Redeemer can only fire stationary, otherwise they'll just continue walker-ing without causing any damage. You should keep that in mind when assaulting the GDI base as you'll sustain way less casualties and damage and keep track of your units so they don't pile up in the base and jam everything
I had enough units to destroy the GDI base so I didn't care about the casualties at all. My goal was to drop a nuclear bomb, then place all units in the center of the GDI base and start burning everything around.
And what about Scrin plotline? At the end they said to prepare full invansion fleet to Earth and nothing happened. I thought that 4th C&C will be grand final with Scrin, GDI, Nod from the start and will continue plotline from Kane's wrath also and nothing happened...
I hate this mission. It's my 2nd most hated on Hard. Not even (literally) 5 minutes after I gain MCV control, I get slammed by 8-9 predator tanks, 2 or 3 APCs, 2-3 squads of zone troopers, 2-3 grenade squads, and a Juggernaut. It's so bad I cant even put up a turret without it being half dead by the time it fully deploys. Infantry just gets ran over by suiciding Slingshots. If that doesnt happen then I get hit with half that force (much more managable) then I dont see hardly any units for another 7 or 8 minutes. Once it gets to that point in time, suddenly I'm getting hit with artillery spam by 3 or 4 Juggs IN THE GDI base. I've had it with this mission. One time I was able to get a Redeemer on the field. Figured I'd play it safe and double engineer it. It got smoked before I could even get to the gdi base.
@@hdw no sir. But the ironic part is that after I commented this, I played the map again and finally destroyed it. Mainly because I didnt get spammed as hard honestly. But I wasnt even able to hardly get my Tech down before it would start oppressing me like I said before. It was really weird. I didnt do anything differently when I beat it other than move my MCV forward just enough to get a war factory down and line it with 5 reckoners filled with missile squads and black hand. Idk. Either way though your guides have helped me through Tib Wars and KW so I appreciate it man.
EAs biggest mistake with Kane’s wrath is to make the campaign a nod only campaign instead of featuring all three factions including GDI and Scrin. Also because of only a nod campaign I can’t use the cool hammerheads and Marvs. I only get cape wearing villainous soldiers especially black hand.
The AI is so broken. Sometimes they leave you alone like in this video(which makes it a boring mission), other times they attack you from the start in a relentless fashion(even without touching the objectives).
I found that it depends on that if you capture two tiberium silos near your base and defend them with some units, AI is trying to send there engineers to capture it all the time.
Like in many levels, the AI act very different depending on what you do. If you build your base out of their exploration route they don't bother to even build more units, but if you expanded your base, capture neutral buildings and collect enough Tiberium on Normal and Hard will start to launch wave after wave of units to stop you.

For that reason I put flamethrower on them or use the Black Hand Purifier when assault enemy bases.

Did you capture the Control Nodes at the begging of the mission? If so, then it triggered GDI to attack your base.

That's dependant on if you build outside of the initial canyon you start in.
