Kinda insane how Witchyworld's Carnival theme was a DeltaRune reference this entire time (DeltaRune Chapter 1 invented carnivals and circuses) This rip sounds quite nice, by the way
@@squadalaguydc i tried to game so hard to get 100% but the mechanics in the later stages were too annoying, for example that stupid seed thing in the terrarium also logbox or whatever its name is was way too snarky even for young me's standards, he's acting like he's the only *smart* person in this *race* of bear and bird against the witch
man I can't BELIEVE how many ice eggs it takes to beat the NerdBird in witchyworld, and you still have to do a stupid retro minigame to get the jiggy? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!?!?

Remember that glitch where it turned Kazooie blue? But for some reason, Kazooie's voice was different and she kept spouting some sort of gaming jargon. What was up with that?
That was actually an unfinished easter-egg, much like Dragon-Kazooie, "Gaming-Kazooie" was meant to be accessible by collecting something referred to in the game-files as a "DarkWorldGlobo" and would've allowed the player to use infinite ice-eggs, however, it was scrapped pretty late into development because Rare's top brass thought people wouldn't find it as funny as the other planned-yet-scrapped transformation, Grand-Banjo.
I was singing witchyworld and then berdly theme popped in my mind, and I thought that would be a great mashup. So then I thought maybe they already created my idea, and BOOM here it is!!! Silva community doesn’t miss a beat!
It's a fun time, but they just went overboard with the collectibles and the size of the worlds compared to Banjo's speed, even while using the Talon Trot it feels like it takes years to explore them. Despite all of that it still manages to be my favorite videogame of all time, though.
@@MexicanSheepMan I remember loving the size of the maps, playing as a kid. It felt magical and liberating to have so much room to explore in. It really helped my immersion. I could get why it wouldn't feel like that when playing it as an adult in 2022, though.

It's a fun time, but they just went overboard with the collectibles and the size of the worlds compared to Banjo's speed, even while using the Talon Trot it feels like it takes years to explore them. Despite all of that it still manages to be my favorite videogame of all time, though.
