It was said that one of his statements was hurtful. A video was posted on the social media site Instagram from the official handle of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati and it was written - Rahul Gandhi should present his side before the Paramdharma Sansad within a month. If he does not do so, he will be declared excommunicated from the Hindu religion.
