can't see how that would be an issue, you ted your hay out just use this to rake it back unless you let it stand in the windrow for the breeze to get to it
The neighbor Demo's one of those a few years back. He ended up mounding a v rake on the loader of the tractor so the rake is in front and baler behind. Used a skid steer quick tach plate and welded it to the rake. Funny thing, the rake still has the original hitch on the front so they can still use it as a pull behind!

Yeah usually rake it up bale and in a couple of hours. Than bale.
...first cut is pretty heavy ,ground can be damp..

Universal v-rake. That’s cool. My buddy said he would hate to have to go back to doing it separate. Have a good one

The benefit of having the rake mounted on the front would be the elimination of 20' of a 100 hp PTO shaft and hydraulic lines!
A trick : you can watch movies at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.
