Great video! Im a life long tea drinker, after a family friend gave me "faerie tea" (2tsp sugar, 2tsp honey, chamomile and milk, served in a large mug) as a child. Now I blend some of my own, in particular a peppermint and spearmint blend, with liquorice, fennel, aniseed and lemongrass, and a iced tea, with hibiscus, ginger, cinnamon, clove, rose (petals or hips) and pomegranate juice, or passionfruit from my garden when its in season. I remember when I first realised that all the elements are represented in tea making, and sometimes use making a cup/pot as a little centering technique.
That faerie tea sounds amazing! I sometimes brew a little extra as an offering to the fairies as well. :) Yes, having a lot of ingredients mix can be so much fun and a good way to connect with elements and the self. 🔥
There is this Green tea called Mountain Tea. It is a Greek herb that is grown on the mountains. It is perfect with honey. You have to actually boil it a specific way for it to turn out right, it can be complicated to explain in a comment. It’s really good for illnesses but it helps me to be calm, so I usually drink it at night.
I think I know what you mean! The plant it is made from is called ironwort or sideritis and I have some as well. It tastes slightly savory - I've always likened it to Oregano. :) It's not a green tea, because green tea always has to made of/with leaves from the tea plant. So it is an herbal tea, since it has no tea leaves in it. How do you usually brew it? Maybe there's a specific way I don't know yet. :)
Anya Esma Oops yeah it’s herbal tea (it was early morning when I wrote this). You have to boil some water with the Mountain Tea inside. When it starts to boil, leave it to boil for 1 min and then close the flame and leave it for 1-2 mins.
I LOVE tea. I love smelling tea, I love brewing tea, I love watching tea being poured, and I love watching the steam rising from the cup. I love drinking tea too! ❤
I feel drawn to peppermint tea since I was young. It gives me fresh and rejuvenated feeling, especially when I was sick. I also agree that we will get things more in-depth if we learn it in the later stage since it makes us more excited about life. I learnt dance couples of years ago but didn’t continue at last after I graduated. Sometimes I feel a bit pity as I do love it. But then I really think it will drain a lot of my energy to learn it when I was under a great pressure of work. Now I found yoga and it kinda help and heal me, feel it make me become a better person so I told myself i have to keep going and try and see what it could bring me in the near future. Again, thank you so much for your sincere and nice video. 💜
That sounds wonderful! Both dance and yoga are such good ways to bond with that dear physical shell of ours. ;) I love just dancing intuitively, but I've never formally learned it. Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm glad you liked it. :)
FIIIIINALLY! Someone who shares my love for nettle tea 💚. Normally I just get "what? you can eat nettles?" and "ewwww" Other than that, our local supermarket does a wild apple and rosemary blend which changed my life in regards to fruit tea. It's not as sweet and/or acidic and/or intense and/or in-your-face "fruity" as the usual hibiscus/rosehip based blends and its absolutely amazing.
Yeeees, nettle! 😍 Oh my, apple rosemary sounds really good actually. So it's not by a brand, just local to your shop? Wish I could try it! Rosehip and hibiscus totally isn't my thing either.
I’m literally obsessed with teas! Dandelion is one of my favorites because my heart feels clean after drinking it. Chamomile mixed with valerian is perfect before bed, I use ginger for when I’m feeling bloated and have a cup of matcha every morning for focus and clarity 😊
This was so lovely and chilled 🥰 My favourites at the moment are chai and a blend of cinnamon and turmeric, but I’ll be back into the green and white tea once spring gets going 👌🏻
I’m so glad I stumbled upon this years later. I don’t feel alone and weird anymore 😂 I thought I was the only one who is spiritually connected with tea and it’s benefits
A GREAT tea blend is 1 cinnamon stick, 1tsp of cloves, 1 black cardamom, and honey. You can also add ginger. It’s tastes amazing and is great for illness.
I relate to you so much and understand exactly everything you are talking about on a personal level! I’m 24 and came into the matcha game late. It’s funny to think a couple months ago I was not sifting my matcha, trying to froth it with a spoon and using boiling water 😂 Now I have a ceremonial matcha bowl, ceremonial grade matcha, a milk frother, and I let my water cool a little first 😊 the art of learning is an amazing journey
Huge tea fan!! Green tea if done well (huge must!) Then I can drink it. Big fan of my black teas. One I'm drinking now is an eggnog black tea from Vintage Teas which is local to me here in Ontario Canada.
I’m currently obsessed over the brand “Yogi” and I swear there is not any tea brand that’s better than Yogi. My favorite blend of theirs is the Earl Gray and Spiced Chai from Trader Joe’s 😍 they are THE BOMB
I used to do a morning matcha ritual. Use a tea bowl with bamboo whisk. Add water and whisk:) The matcha has to be very good quality tho because the taste of bad matcha is quite terrible. Usually ceremonial grade matcha will work:) oh! Pairing with a tea ceremony sweet will change the flavour of the tea. It’s quite interesting:)
Try a super infusion for nettle - by itself or with oat straw or red clover - steep 4 hours to overnight. It’s MORE energizing than caffeine and sooo nutritious! 🦋
So amazing video! I used to hate tea too, but my story is a bit different: I just decided that I wanted to like it! haha It was 4 years ago, but I started and stopped a lot trying to create this habit until I finally started really enjoying it (around 1 year ago). I think it happened because I didn't know which flavors I liked, plus I needed to create a "mindset" as I'd just drink tea when I was feeling really happy/cozy, then nowadays even if I'm "normal" before drinking it, I just start feeling that same good feeling just because I know that I'm going to drink tea (my brain associated tea with this mental/physical state), it's a bit crazy xD Nowadays I love it, without any effort.
That's a beautiful story! And I had a similar experience too! Besides having to review tea for work, I really just wanted that feeling, that lifestyle. Basically exactly as you described it: that comfy aesthetic and feeling of sipping some tea. :D So it DOES summon those positive feelings for me as well because I trained myself to like it and the lifestyle connected to it. ❤ Huh, mugwort sounds interesting! Never tried it as tea before. :D
1:15 I'd say not necessarily because it would depend on your water. Our water where I used to live although technically drinkable was hard and had lots of minerals in it. Think I partly prefer tea as you boil the water to make it (to do otherwise in my opinion is a waste of a teabag ice tea is something like Brisk or Good Host).
Since Patreon didn’t let me leave a comment, I’ll try again here. First of all thanks for mentioning me as one of your patrons - that was so sweet 🥰 And now let’s talk about tea because I love tea! 😊 ☕️I have to admit that you’re totally right. As someone who drinks tea her whole life I don’t pay much attention to the brewing process anymore, because I know which tea needs what and of course I have my favourite types of tea. My most favourite is green tea - Sencha, Gunpowder and Jasmine, followed by black tea - English Breakfast, Assam and one that is flavoured with passion fruit. I also like fruit tea - no specifics because it depends on the season or my mood. I have to admit that, even if I’m totally into herbs and essential oils, I’m not keen on herbal teas at all. But after your video I will definitely try lavender tea, because I love lavender! Any further questions? 😉 Oh, I have to add that I of course use herbal teas when I don’t feel well or when I’m really sick. But other than that there is no chance that I will drink herbal teas! 🙃
Thank youuuu. ❤ I feel like chamomile especially, but also other herbal teas, are often associated with sickness for a lot of people because they only ever drank them when they were sick as a child. 😅 I bet that sort of conditioning is hard to let go of! Sencha, gunpowder and Jasmine, yessss 😍 Those are some of my faves! Let me know how it goes with you and lavender. It's definitely not the nicest one since it tends to get bitter. I personally like sage more, since the taste is very agreeable. But I'm sure you can make it work. ✨
Just found your channel, absolutely love your honestly and time you put in to these videos! It really shines ✨ so glad I found your channel!!! I was wondering what you use to edit these cute ass videos?? Xxx much love b
Thank you for your sweet words, Naira! :) And happy that you found your way here! I use a program called Da Vinci Resolve to edit my videos. :) It's free!
I'm excited to start drinking tea again, I loved hearing you say that green tea gave you that element you felt was missing. Thats something I'm hoping to get out of tea. I know something is missing for me. I hear about Earl Grey a lot but I truly dislike it quite a bit. To me, it tastes like fruit loop cereal milk. I'm going to start with Yerba mate and green tea regularly. Do you find yourself sweetening it with honey? I grew up using agave nectar and I have neither in my house right now. Not sure which one might taste better 🤔
I never sweeten my tea with anything. 😌 It disturbs the true flavor for me. But yeah, some teas are definitely more of an acquired taste than an immediate love. Enjoy your journey with it!
I’ve always loved tea. My mom would make me a cup of Sleepytime tea when I was a child when I had nights where I couldn’t sleep. Now, I have tea for pretty much everything and my stepdad jokes about it all the time :). Nowadays, I like to use tea strainers with crystals at the end and I have a specific tea that I drink before bed when my anxiety feels at it’s highest. And I’m more of an herbal tea kind of gal
Yes, a tea chit chat! ☕️ I love ALL teas xD i could talk for hours about it but I usually love the ones with cinnamon, they give me some autumn vibes🍂 Besides cinnnamon there's a tea from clipper that says "sleep easy" that its really great and one of organic chocolate with orange from stash 🍫🍊 maybe it doesnt have an espectacular taste but the smell its the best part of that tea (: Chamomille is my go to kind of warm my heart xD And i personally have tea anytime! studying, reading cards, etc, im a mess and always spill all over but that doesnt stop me xD
I looove Chamomille as well. :D Totally forgot to mention it! And chocolate teas usually smell so good, yeeees. The taste is kind of underwhelming like you said, but the smell... Haha. :)
I like Milky Blue tea and Chinese tea with rice in it, it gives a great taste ! Also I like Verbena and rose. I loved that video even if you said you were rambling 😼 Are you German ? All the teas in your kitchen were German alphabet. Love xxx
Honestly, a lot of them are just from the drugstore or supermarket, but if I look for something special, there are a lot of dedicated tea shops where I live. Maybe see if your city has a tea shop or if there is a good online seller in your country? Good luck!
It depends on the framework and belief system in which you operate. I recommend you look at the content of some witches who used to be Christian and how they experienced it. In the end, what is in your heart matters.

Chai masala tea with almond milk and I scribe runes in the foam for healing and meditation.
Love this. Runes on food are an amazing way to do some light-hearted, quick witchery. ✨
My favorite has been and always will be Earl grey idk why I just always loved it
Very classy tea drinker! ✨ I love black teas like Darjeeling as well.

Anya Esma so what does green tea/ matcha tea do?
It's a great energy booster because it has caffeine, but the "awakeness curve" doesn't crash in a lack of energy like with coffee.
Yees you should try an aged white tea! Prepared with the gong fu method
I’m currently obsessed over the brand “Yogi” and I swear there is not any tea brand that’s better than Yogi. My favorite blend of theirs is the Earl Gray and Spiced Chai from Trader Joe’s 😍 they are THE BOMB
