I have never seen or heard about using a heat gun on contact paper. Wow. I have been using contact paper for 40 years and never knew that trick. A big THANK YOU. THANK YOU. I love all your projects. So fun and so beautiful
I've been a sign language interpreter and I teach American Sign Language at our local college. I love that you used fingerspelling in one of you projects. I watch all your videos and think you are adorable!
You flipped the t tops with contact paper so cute. HIGH END. Designs from the Dollar Tree make for expressive designs customized with formulas that are color coded patterns .
When u whipped out that contact paper i wasnt so sure about the result but it looked so good! That heat gun made a big difference in adherence and the finish. All great tips! Many never occurred to me or never heard of... you are a true crafter
Love the light pendant. Using that Dollar Tree bulb and your method of hanging it, you could make so many crafts, so many different shades. Thanks for the inspiration.
I use my old hair dryer works well and has 3 speeds and has 3 heat settings.. You can use tea bags or coffee to stain your wood. Hard to find the chalk paint. I also go to the paint store and get my chalk paint. Little less expensive. If you do a lot of projects. Your ideas are great and fun. Thank you
I’ve been crafting making things for decades and never thought to use the heat gun on the contact paper! Such a great idea and I loved them all but my favorite was the lantern!
You blow me away with your creativity! I LOVE all these diy's and couldn't possibly pick a favorite. I am blown away though by that light. I also just can't get over how baking soda can change paint and you can get that "cement" look with it. Your tip about heating the contact paper is a good one too. Amazing video as always! Hugs, Brenda
Great projects, all turned out quite well. The use of the heat gun on contact paper is ingenious and a great tip, as is the baking soda textured paint. Favorites? I like the vase painting and pendant light fixture (which could easily be electrified). Watched your bathroom makeover, really appreciate your "can-do" spirit.
Hi Jaz I have to say your a very smart and talented lady. Everytime i watch your channel. I love the one where you used the heat tool to soften the contact paper' I may sound like I have told you before but I just love that your spunky and beautiful. May God Bless you and your family.
I love the light fixture and HOME (sign language) sign you made. My best friend is learning sign language and I want to make that for her now. She’ll love it. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoyed this video, as always. One idea I had when you did the trinket boxes was that you could use a Bath and Body Works candle glass and then you wouldn't even have to buy the trinket box.
You are an amazing crafter. I never knew that contact paper could be shaped like that and using sign language in a craft is genius. The cute lamp cage is my favorite.
I love ALL of these projects! I don't even have a favorite because that's how much I love them all. I am definitely going to be making every one of these. Thank you so much for the inspiration and sharing all of your creativity with us! I saved this video so I can follow along when I make mine.
Ok I thought I was the only one who uses heat with contact paper! It works so well not to mention it also gives it a stronger bond! I just love all of your ideas Jaz you're amazing! Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas and keep them coming!!!!
I am SOO GLAD you showed me how to do the contact paper idea! I have been wanting to hide my ugly pink 4"bath tile! Rental. Doesn't want me to paint them. Found out that the contact paper when patiently applied with a squeegee does work on it. And it's vinyl so it's waterproof. But, there's still the grout lines with a bit of air. This idea may help! Also, the pendant light. Thanks 👍
Love your diys! Who else can't stand when you've been to every single dollar tree in your area and you still can't find most of these products! Just a little stressful.
Absolutely GORGEOUS !!! Loved them all, but the wooden lantern was ALL that! I was saying" dont paint it!", but as usual you were right!! The stripe was perfect! Big fan of yours! TFS! ⚘ Have to go share this one, for sure!!
I love your channel. I've been trying to figure out what to do with my empty 3 wick candle jars. I'm going to use them like your trinket box. Thanks so much.
Oh my GRACIOUS!!! The heat used on the lid of the trinket jar did so well!! I had no idea you could do that! And the little light fixture was adorable!! Love!!! You have a beautiful voice and you’re so talented!!
Thanks for the tip of the heat gun for bonding the contact paper to a curve edge. Those jars are so cute with the faux wood look! And the little pallet light is so unique! Nice job as always!
Beautiful, you are so very creative. I love your high end look of all your projects. Thanks for sharing. I love the light, but I really want to make a sign language plaque that says home as a gift for my sister. She is deaf and would love it.
I have never seen or heard about using a heat gun on contact paper. Wow. I have been using contact paper for 40 years and never knew that trick. A big THANK YOU. THANK YOU. I love all your projects. So fun and so beautiful
I Love this pop of blue! It’s totally unexpected in a room full of warm browns and greens
I really like that crate light. So glad you did everyday items and not holiday stuff.
Me too!

Would it work to turn contact paper upside down (sticky facing up) and placing the lid on there? If you don’t have heat gun ?
Hanging lamp was my total favorite!!
I use my old hair dryer works well and has 3 speeds and has 3 heat settings.. You can use tea bags or coffee to stain your wood. Hard to find the chalk paint.
