@@piuallegro1 we bought our 1st house unseen in 2005. It needed everything doing but we knew that and it was cheap as chips. The lucky thing was that it was in a really good village, and that's the hard part to get right. If parking at Bristol we used Broadfield Park and Fly. Half the price of the silverzone parking, including transfering you to/from the airport which is literally 5 mins from their farm.

Did you get direct flights from Bristol ? What's the best way to keep prices down ?
Yes to Sofia with Ryanair. This time we booked the departure flight separately and waited for prices to drop before booking the return flight.
