+spconway11 You shouldn't call yourself that. We all have different ways of learning that end up giving us the same solution. I understood it this way too.
Omg. You're the best. You helped me with intro to radicals. Then I got to variables. I looked other videos up and got super overwhelmed and confused. I HAD to look you back up and watch this video to understand radicals with variables
wooooooooooow! this was way much simple!!!! outs 1257AM trying to study and understand this and after hours thanks to you i get it!!!! woooooooooooow!!!! thank you!!!
Thank you. Please number and arrange your playlists in a chronological order. Which one should we learn first. Which one after that, and so on. Thank you.
When there is a variable with an odd exponent under a square root sign, is it implied that the variable is greater than or equal to 0?, (or would it be necessary to specify this in some way), since you cannot have a negative value under the square root sign.
You mean we don't put an absolute value for X, but that indicates the usage of absolute value is for real numbers only. The principal root of (i)^2= |i| Or i?
You presented the wrong answer to this problem. Since it is an even root (ie 4th root) you must use an absolute value to ensure a positive x outside the radical. The correct answer is 2|x|•√5xy^3 where I'm denoting the 4th root by √
Bro I am in college as a freshman and my professor for math is horrible the guy makes the test extremely difficult to understand it's online and he doesn't actually teach you the problems instead he just writes the solution without teaching step by step and we are paying for the classes youtube should be school not college
The radicals in precalc is way harder than this. I can't find any precalc radicals. All the radicals online are intermediate algebra radicals. Had to change my major because I couldn't pass precalc. That math is required for an information technology degree at my college although I'll never use precalc in real life. I just don't get why colleges do that to students who are not mathematically inclined. Everybody doesn't have the mentality of a mathematician. The professor I had was a fucking genius African guy who was a PhD out of MIT. He was obviously a fucking genius but what good is his intelligence going to do him if he can't even speak proper English. Smartest professor I've ever seen but his English was horrible.
you are the ONLY teacher on youtube that makes this make since regardless of the problem, formula or anything
idk..there are some good teachers out there.
sense*
@Aldo Fedderly the actual frick
I can't believe it's so simple! And I can't thank you enough for such a clear explanation - it's like magic :)
thank you so much. This was way more helpful than my teacher. I understand it so much better.
As a dumbass currently practising mathematics for my return to school, I want to give you a sincere thank you
Glad I could help out....You're not dumb if you are taking the time to learn on your own :)
+spconway11 You shouldn't call yourself that. We all have different ways of learning that end up giving us the same solution. I understood it this way too.
Can’t say it true that your a dumbass but I can’t say your not cause I don’t know you JK god made everybody smart
A decade later, another dumbass here would sincerely like to thank you.
Your a really good teacher, been on RUclips for like 2 hours and couldn't find any good lessons; but you however was beautiful.

Thank you so much man! This is a way simpler than the way it is being taught to me.
I have been looking everywhere for a simpler way to do this type of problem! This helped me so much! Thank you!!
wooooooooooow! this was way much simple!!!! outs 1257AM trying to study and understand this and after hours thanks to you i get it!!!! woooooooooooow!!!! thank you!!!
Thank you so much! Neither my books nor any other tutor was able to break it down this simple for me!
Thank you, sir for this different method. The methods my teacher were showing didn't make much sense to me but this really helps out. Thank you. :)
thank you for doing this!! you're helping me pass my classes!!
Thank you. This was the easiest way to simplify with no need to make it any more difficult than it actually is!
Math!!! Glad I found math meeting.
Best I seen, very simple and to the point, great stuff !
👍
I have a test today and this is the ONLY thing i didnt understand , thank u!
if i could like this video twice, i would. this was a GREAT explanation
I was having dropping out thoughts but I changed my mind.
FINALLY! a video that I actually understand! thank you so much!!!
After watching many videos on this subject this one finally got through to me
I agree with everyone else...BEST lesson on this!!! THANK YOU!!!
I am Brasilian. It's very for me to improve my english skill by watching your videos about math.
thanks, the only video that explains in detail!!
Thank you. Please number and arrange your playlists in a chronological order. Which one should we learn first. Which one after that, and so on. Thank you.
Great video. Keep up the good work man!
Nice, clear explanation!!
Glad I found you, this helped a lot thanks!
THANKYOU! This cleared up so much confusion for me!
Thank you bro.
It's really help me in my study
Would the x need absolute value bars?
The outside x should have an absolute value? Since the variable can be negative?

Very helpful. Thank you!
I'VE ENJOYED THE LESSON... .THANKS
Thank you so much now it really makes freakin sense now........WAYYYY better THANNN my teacher
Is the usage of absolute value in simplifying radicals for real numbers only?
The principal root of (i)^2=
|i| Or i?
This made sense, dropped a sub.
how do I do this if its 81 and not 80? I have to simplify 81r^6s^4
I need to thank you because I overslept and missed an online class explaining.
This really helped me, thank you
How would you simplify the 4th root of 15 ^2? It can be simplified. How?
Awesome as always :D!
Thankssss!!!!
Wrong answer. See above
how did u come to know math this beautifully, I want to know the secret lol
math ads: "are tutorials from 2014 going to help you?"
me: "yes."
I typically hate watching math videos since, the people are usually too general or have annoying voices but this was great thank you!
Di pa namin napag-aaralan toh pero nagets q agad 😃
Great video thanks again.
Awesome video!! Thank you so much!
Thank you for the videos
What if you break down a number but you don't find enough prime numbers to satisfy a cube root or fourth root?
+CrimsonReaper83 then its completely simplified
Marcelo Rodrigues No guey, tu.
thank you so much, helped alot
THANK YOU!
Why didn't u do the y separately
this was accurate! thank you!
thanks 3000 mate...vid still saving lives lmao
what if x & y have the same exponent?
which number of exponent?
I think of dropping math at least twice a week until i watch a video an understand it
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you sir
I have an exam today. I'm no longer worried about it.
I'm not even in school but I realized I completely forgot how to do these
What if there are no leftovers?
Then you call domino's
lmfao.
Judge Victorio 😂
you freaking rock
THANK U I WAS STRUGGLING
wowwwww nice thank youuuu sir
Thank you so much! I'm glad i found this :D
Thank you Soo much 💗💗
thank you so much i love you💞💓💗💖💘💕💝
Why you live y inside and dont take it out
thanks it helped a lot
This is awesome
Thank you very much
Wow amazing thank you
Thank you so much!!

2x(5xy^3)^1/4
Thank you

⁴√(x⁴) is |x| not x. If x=-1 then ⁴√(x⁴) is 1 not -1.
thank you!!
You call this harder?! Only spent 16 seconds!
thank you so much omg
thanks bro
wooooooow ❤❤❤
tysm
Cool. Helped. Jesus Loves You!!! :)
Yea!
Also The Peter Pan and the fairies in Neverland love him!
You only need to believe it and that makes it true!
Admin-i strator really no need for that discussion here.
this is very long proces
👍👍👍💟💟
Some more complexity is here: ruclips.net/video/dqek7EkXcYo/видео.html
I think i should just drop out
omg thank you!!!!
