Part 13
Plugging motorbike tyres on the Gibb River road was never the plan, I needed to research my my motorbike tyres more before the trip !! They are worn out with still more than 900 kilometers to ride. Candy is getting stressed and physically pushed to her limits, Parry is losing his mind !

I have been using tire plugs for 30+ years. I have one in my 2018 Nissan truck I installed when new. 6 years later still holding strong. Glad to see you finally used them.

The Dunlop trail max tire would have been my choice for a trip like that ., With a fibreglass tire wall and a hard compound they can handle the kgs and go the distance .. also can be run soft ., Loving this vlog and trip ., Good work

You have to install the plug first before you use the slime. The Plugs have to be glued in place in order to be effective. Plugs will slow down a leak a lot. The Adhesive can't work in slime.
Wrong sort of plug.
Plus gotta trim level to tyre.
Never ever used glue, I’ve done lots of them, especially if the hole is a little bigger, the glue actually lubricates the plug and can push it out before it dries. Each to their own. Never ever had a plug come out. Semi tires , motorcycle, utvs.
Not glue, it's "special lubricant"
@@b-rock4831 It's a Rubber cement glue If you dip one of those plugs into the container of cement it will make the whole bottle of cement turn hard.
I have patched and Plugged many tires from Motorcycle car and heavy off road equipment .

Im straight up worried about Candys health after watching this. I hope she is ok. You should be more prepared if you're bringing someone who is unwell. Maybe put a message in one of the subsequent vlog episodes so we know she is fine post trip. This series has been one of your best so far though. You're brave doing the gibb like this.
