Double Bell makes insanely good guns for the price. I don't really understand how they're getting away with it; even the internals are fantastic. I'm just gonna buy up the ones I want before they get big and prices go up 😅
Double Bell is the former DBoys. It always been a solid AEG, which required from the factory love and attention from the users. I have an older DBoys M4A1 and the gearbox shell is buletproof. But it needed some shim, brass barrel polished, a better hopup rubber, a M100 spring instead of M120 stock and it looks like is going to run forever. I am laughing 'cause even now they're using something inside made of clear plastic. On mine is the nozzle made of it. Still holds, but I expect to be the weakest point of the replica. And yes, I am using for it CYMA midcaps, and never got any misfeed.
I have the steel and wood aks74u double bell. Like you said, it needed some love like shimming, lubrication, and getting a good air seal by replacing factory orings. But now it runs flawlessly. I love it.
That's odd. I've ordered and received 5 different AK's over the last 2 years and I've never had one come without a cap on the charging handle to stop precisely what happened to your parcel with its perforation. Mine were all GBBR, though, maybe AEGs ship differently? 🤔🤨 PS, I'm also located in the US, so maybe that explains the difference?
430 440.fps not usable at any field..it is disappointing not wired to stock .thats nor hard to remedy..you can purchase extended harness cheaply .. route it into stock ..very easy ..if you notice on cyma AKM my old one was extended into stock ..with options of unplugging and using under dust cover..that gearbox sounds tight!! Or motor height was to high... again simply adjusted
Hi! I'm thinking of buying this ak and switching the plastic hop up unit for the cyma metal ine, so you think its a good idea? I already have an ak (cm040) thats lying around with no use

Absolutely yes! Either of those will be fine. An 11.1v will have a hard time if doing anything to it! Pheas
What type of battery did you use in the video
For the rof test I use a nuprol 7.4v 2200mah crane stock lipo and a nuprol 11.1v 2200mah crane stock lipo. Hope that helps! Pheas
