I love this band. They should be over the top. Music that is out now being shoved down are throats by I Heart makes me want to puke.Let me win the lottery so I can bring real music back to the people. I would love to be able to start a radio station that played only what I want to hear.And on vynal like the old days.
Let me ask you this.. what makes this "real music"? The fact that they're playing traditional rock instruments? There's just as much studio processing on these songs as you would hear on any pop song on any I Heart Radio station. Wes Scantlin's voice has been completely shot for 10+ yrs, there's significant autotune processing on his vocals. The guitars, drums and bass sound completely unnatural too. All of those tracks are squeezed and compressed to shit until all the dynamic range is gone because they want it to be LOUD. You say you want to bring back "real music" like the stuff from the days of vinyl.. do yourself a favor and re-listen to your old Led Zeppelin IV LP or Houses of The Holy. Then immediately come right back to this and give it another listen. I get what you're saying but this band is hardly the spitting image of real rock music. This is shitty bastardized 90's alternative rock all dressed up in major label fashion. It's trash.
