    Tinky said he built it strictly for the sound, and he nailed it. It rolls so hard even when it sits still.

    That's not just racecar problems, it's oh-so-common with the 4L60E. Those transmissions are really trash, but the 4L80 conversion is relatively inexpensive in relation to the cost of that build. I think that a 4L80 with a manual valve body is an absolute necessity for a build that sweet. I love the conversion back to the automotive content. Keep up the good work and congratulations again on "Thailadega"

    • @CBMedia404

      Monster transmission makes a really well built 4l60e for the money

    • @ZeroCool-vn9bd
      @ZeroCool-vn9bd 3 года назад

      @@CBMedia404 Right! I would imagine market for 4L80's or Tremec T5's is a bit more complicated in Thailand. I can't imagine many vehicles sold in your neck of the woods came with a 4L80. A mildly built one should be able to take the power with ease, and a manual valve body will be amazing. Look at Stadium Super Trucks for example. They use this setup and take heaps of abuse. A G-Force 4 speed would really be fun though. :)

    As someone who has been into muscle cars for years, I have a love for all types of enthusiast builds. I can appreciate a numbers matching, nut and bolt restoration. I can also appreciate a build like this one. That guy should have absolutely no worries when it comes to his build. It appears to be very well done, and his design choices from the seats to the wheels are spot-on.
    I'm REALLY looking forward to what you do with this track. You and Cleetus are my official go-to RUclips Track guys, lol.

      I totally agree as a "more" old school style type person. The flares/ and mirrors really make you think that was a JDM IMSA/Trans AM car from back in the day. Pretty cool.

      bosozuku is an old trend. bosozuku was mentioned earlier in the video, thats the style they use. its based off motorbike gangs in japan if im remembering what someone told me about it. look up gen 3 bosozuku camaro on google. its a drawn picture, but that one looks really sick, reminds me of the 90s japanese sports cars. its going to be the i-roc z picture, if you do.

    Texas boy here, with several muscle car builds under my belt. And I would just like to tip my hat to tinky. Really, really tastefully done. Never realized how much the camero body lines lend themselves to the wide body look and stance. Car looks like a modern take on the old trans am series cars which I really dig. Well done tinky. Well done. I don’t know the availability in Thailand, but if you can, I would definitely swap that 4L60 for a 4L80e. Speaking from experience.

    I came to your channel starting from the pecular Isuzu racecar builds. However, when you transitioned at some point to a more "travelling oriented" channel, I wasn't against it, but wasn't for it either.
    However, seeing some mad CHOP and more cars back on the channel makes me SO HAPPY you're going back to your roots.

    Nonetheless, this is always your channel and you're free to do as you like. Although my tastes with your videos would and will always lay with all these awesome racecars you document.

    Man I been watching your channel for so long, and for some reason it never gave me a notification when I released a new video. I didn’t realised you went close to Kalasin. There’s not much there but if you ever go there, it would be too surreal. I’ve always grownup in a car community/Bike/ boats as my family is all rev heads and it’s been almost 5 years since I went back to see my family but thank you for showing me all my childhood memories and all the places I been too as a kid like daamn I’m loving my childhood through watching your content I love it

    Good stuff Tinky. Thanks for sharing. You understand American Muscle Cars much better than I understand the Thai language and traditions. Building up something special and something that is you is it man. You nailed it.
    And I have visited the beautiful Thailand and yep, he's right, take that ride for a drive around Phuket and see the whole island -- what could be better? These videos make me want to come back and visit more. Thx

    Good name Chad and the sound of the LS is awesome and if that car was in the US gear heads like myself would be amazed.Especially when they see the cleaness of the engine compartment.Of course what it turns in the quarter mile.The only thing I see that I would change is the mirrors, back to the doors.American's would love this car.I do agree a standard tranny would be better, easier to stay in the torque range.Great vid I enjoyed it.🚙
