Tinky said he on the search for a manual transmission and will be back, to drag race my M3 V8 E30…he makes 100hp more but I weigh less…this is going to be good….
Tinky said he built it strictly for the sound, and he nailed it. It rolls so hard even when it sits still. I see where you’re going w/the channel. So many opportunities. Looking forward to the next video
That's not just racecar problems, it's oh-so-common with the 4L60E. Those transmissions are really trash, but the 4L80 conversion is relatively inexpensive in relation to the cost of that build. I think that a 4L80 with a manual valve body is an absolute necessity for a build that sweet. I love the conversion back to the automotive content. Keep up the good work and congratulations again on "Thailadega"
@@CBMedia404 Right! I would imagine market for 4L80's or Tremec T5's is a bit more complicated in Thailand. I can't imagine many vehicles sold in your neck of the woods came with a 4L80. A mildly built one should be able to take the power with ease, and a manual valve body will be amazing. Look at Stadium Super Trucks for example. They use this setup and take heaps of abuse. A G-Force 4 speed would really be fun though. :)
I’m oldish and American as F and I absolutely love this car. I’d daily it here in SC if I had it. I did not expect to see an LS1 wow! Tell Tinky that I think everyone here would love that car. He’d be the hit at every show.
As someone who has been into muscle cars for years, I have a love for all types of enthusiast builds. I can appreciate a numbers matching, nut and bolt restoration.
