The Members of Yaska are: Vocalist & Rhythm Guitarist & Bassist: Xie Zhiheng, Lead Guitarist: Zhang Bei, Violinist: Lee Ying, and Female Vocalist: Wei Jing. They rock! “Final Victory” is Track #2 on their CD ‘The Barque of Dante,’ and if you didn’t know, The Barque of Dante is a painting by Eugène Delacroix, which was inspired by reading canto eight of Dante’s Inferno, while Dante was crossing the river Styx against the fateful backdrop of the City of the Dead, as he is steadied by the poet Virgil, as they plough through the waters heaving with tormented souls. This is where the hate for them came from, because we were all fans at one point and realized and were dismayed at how they are NOT true metal musicians, let alone power metal. Thing about metal is about being proficient musicians as opposed to punk/rock music with one chord. I was one of those that started the trend, so sit.

@spitboi7 Well, what I don't understand is why you would say that they are mediocre. Sure, the lead (ex-lead) singer is kinda plain and boring, but there is NO doubting, in my mind, his sheer talent. Furthermore, the guy who plays guitar can clearly do just about ANYTHING he wants to. I LOVE the guitar solos from Fury of the Storm, Above the Winter Moonlight, Heart of a Dragon and Soldiers of the Wasteland. I never heard anything like that in rock or any other genre.

(Blind Guardian has some of the most INTENSE music on their latest albums) But I can always recognize Dragonforce as a great, consistent power metal band.

Haven't checked them out for a long time, but according to Metal Archives they're still active. They have an argentinian singer and a drummer from UK now. You can see some "live" playing from june this year in their video "BARQUE OF DANTE at Heresy Fest Online"

why most chinese metal bands like to make western themes ! why they dont make some metal about chinese themes, or at least add some chinese elements, for example, search: Screaming Saviour - Chinese Gothic Black Metal and u would know what is real chinese metal. and this is just western metal.
