  • Recent studies have found that there is a link between hearing loss and dementia. Dr. Bethany Tucker Au.D. talks us through the specifics in the latest episode of Well Advised.
Dr. Bethany Tucker graduated Magna cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. She then continued her education at JMU as the first Junior in the country to be accepted early to an accredited Doctor of Audiology program.
After completing her externship at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and graduating with her doctorate (Summa cum Laude), Dr. Tucker practiced Audiology in St. Petersburg, FL where she provided hearing aid services and aural rehabilitation to a diverse adult population. She has experience providing hearing healthcare for all ages in various settings (private practices; ear, nose, and throat offices; and hospitals).
