Watching just prior to the 2018 WC and it is sad the USA won’t be there. The 2010 games in South Africa were awe-inspiring...Donovan was amazing! Loved Ian Darke’s coverage of the games. You felt every game was going to be something very special, especially after coming back late against Slovenia. Goosebumps.
That was my favorite summer ever. that was the summer i became an obsessed soccer fan. it was the beginning of my love for the beautiful game. watching this video made me tear up remembering the best summer ive ever lived. USA!! UNION!!!!
I bruised my ribs after the goal against Algeria, slipped exiting the bar against a wrought iron fence. Ran for a mile in the rain as I screamed, waving my US jersey! Tears were flowing for days.
this movie gives me chills everytime and ive watched it at least 30 times. The world better watch out the US national team is comin. Mark my words the US national team will bring this country back together as a whole.

i never really like soccer before this WC. The way USA played was just amazing. No matter how many goals they took away from USA, they never gave up. I can't describe how incredible the comeback against Slovenia and the win against Algeria was. All in all, i can't wait for the next world cup.

Just like when the Denver Broncos and John Elway finally won the Super Bowl, it was a very sweet victory cus of all the times before they didn't get it.

The U.S has come far in the soccer world. Before it was that soccer is a joke, but now they are becoming a force that could potentially beat some of the best teams in the world. They truly inspired me in the Summer of 2010 and I hope they can perform well in 2014 with a new coach and make it pretty far. We just need a couple more young American players playing in better leagues and to just gain experience. I believe that in 2018 and 2022 will be the best world cups for the US ever

Landon Donovan was an INCREDIBLE player when he was younger , he isnt the player he use to be although for his age he is still good but once Landon retires USA is gonna sink Meanwhile Mexico's team has improved a lot and Mexicos sub division won the World Cup against Germany (a few months ago for those that didnt know about it. Soccer in the US has such a small fan base yet these guys play to represent a great nation. People can hate all they want but MY team has made great stride forward the past few years and will only continue to move forward. So if anything you gotta show some respect to the US national team.
