I don't think she's used to holding a microphone, emily is the kind of person that moves a lot while performing but here she also needs to hold the microphone in a very specific way while dancing, so maybe it's because she moves the microphone around

At first I was going to goof on this performance sounds way off nothing like the recording but after a few run through and looking at other live metric videos this performance is great, that crowd in the front aren't ready for stadium's yet they need to start at the local arena then work their way up to stadium love were are on methadone totally flat

Emily's performance is fine. Camera work is not great but she is difficult to track. The big problem is the mix. The background is totally flattened. No separation and no reverb. Sure it's a studio piece trying to go live but the technicals could be a lot better. Perhaps the biggest problem is that her vocals are not being punched through the music. It's very difficult to breath, move, and sing like this, so she gets great marks for the attempt but more attention needed to be paid to riding her mic. That's not her job.

i love the studio version, but this is so bad. this girl cant's sing live! and she has no stage presence.
Off night vocally. Other live performances she is OK.
I always think the vocalists that jump around and run across the stage are out of breath from my experience watching them. I mean how can you sing when you are trying to catch your breath? Also the jumping up and down could cause a distortion in her vocal chords from the motion and the landing on the floor.
