  • The morphology created by running water is known as fluvial geomorphology. The rain water riches the earth surface and spreads horizontally or laterally is known as surface run off. Surface runoff become stream when it flows from a certain height down the slope under impact of gravity. They create erosional and depositional landforms. The lecture includes most of erosional and depositional landform along with classification of Delta.

    Cliff-Slope/River Cliff (concave slope): This side makes the vertical cliffs, because river strike the valley directly.
    Slip-off Slope (Convex Slope): This sides recevies the deposition of sands and other materials. Slip off is characterised by gentle slope.

    Is corrasion same as corrosion sir?

    • @kashifImdad
      @kashifImdad  3 года назад

      Abrasion is (also called corrasion). Corrosion is chemical action of water, that dissolves minerals from the rocks and washes them away. Watch 'type of Fluvial erosion' part again, it will be clear.
