DP 12 is a pain in comparison to the Keltek KSG. The DP12 can only be placed on safe when bolth chambers are ready to fire. The Keltek can be placed on safe regardless of weather or not the firing mechanism is cocked. You can almost buy two KSGs for the price of one DP12

Meh shotguns are starting to get fazed out to breaching tools with only standard pump/semi auto shotguns being used on swat teams, tube fed designs are the only reliable sensible shotguns to carry for operations, shotgun mags are just too low capacity for the size they take up, even in terms of ballistics it overpenetrates more than sbr style rifles in 5.56, no reason to run a shotgun over a AR-15
@@wompy-ru Wait what? I never said 30 round of 5.56 is worse. I think your undermining the usage of different cartridge. A shotgun whether its semi or pump is a solid home defense choice. Most home intruder conflicts ends with 3-4 rounds. Heck a typical 9mm handgun is also enough choice for hd.
Yea the DP-12 is cool and all but I'll never buy a $1900 paperweight. I've seen them fail to feed, fail to fire, fail to extract, and fail to cycle right out of the crate A LOT. Maybe they fixed it but I'm not gonna buy something I get 4 shells out of before it fails.
Paid $1300 for mine probably 5 or 6 years ago. Haven’t had any of those problems. My only complaints are that it is a bit heavy to carry for an extended time and to reload is a bit slow/ awkward.
tbh, my870 tactical suits my needs. i tried out several semi, and full auto shotguns, and my take is this: gimmick. if you cant hit your target with one or two 12g rounds? give up.

How about we stop cultivating a victim mentality, where everyone feels marginalized, and entitled to take the lives of others? Then, that certain group of Americans wouldn't be so concerned with the need to have protection.
